great posting ! as a seventeen year old i went to the Portsmouth Locarno gig - still the most exciting concert i've ever been to ! me and 3 mates got a taxi from Swindon and when we pulled up to the venue girls ran up to the car thinking Bolan had arrived ! Joe Jackson was there too ! ( said he came to see the damned ) .
