  • That apartment actually seems pretty big for Tokyo. It looks good! I'm jealous :(

  • This is really good to know for when I move there. :) it is really cute though

  • Every other leopalace video looks like a shithole but I love what you have done with yours. It reassures me that if I get one I can make the most of my stay. I guess you just have to make it look nice and add personal touches. And keep things tidy! Thanks for posting.

  • this is the future, just imagine there are 100 billion people on the erth..

    we should prepare for it.

  • @zqdz123 Their more than that. what are you 3?????

  • You didn't turn off the lights in the toilet room!! GYA, THE ENVIROMENT!!!! >_<

  • I'm not understanding all of the quips about it being "spacious". I think the cozy size of Japans living spaces are neat. Keep in mind there are is not alot livable space in Japan as much of it is mountainous. Focus on the fact that it's clean, safe, and it's unique attributes- not how it fails to live up to your spoiled American comforts. American's always want more than what they need.

  • @Herakhti Sorry for the misunderstanding. This video was intended for my American peers who share the same predominant perspective as me. To share my background a bit, I grew up in Wyoming, where there are about 5 people for every square mile (~2 people per square kilometer). From that perspective, things may feel less spacious. Still enjoyably livable, though.

  • That's so cute :3 I love it

  • awesome, love the compact Japanese Apt's, thx 4 the view"gingerlita" cheers! x0]

  • cute girl

  • thats so small so all Japanese apartments this expensive and small ? lol

i think they fit pll in drawers now

  • I love it. After 5 years on a cruise ship you have a penthouse lol. I would love living there.and remeber people , like my parents , live IV a RV ( a nice one) and its worse then that. So its for some people . I really like living like that. How much do you pay????

  • thats place is so cute :3 but why are there no drying machines? Dx

  • @xXNeonskittlezXx they cost way to much to keep and they are energy hogs...

  • thats lame...i'm off to play cricket in my drawing room.

  • ur house sucks

  • Dang

    nice place

  • I guess fat people don't live in Tokyo.

  • i cant jack off in there that bathroom sucks

  • Wow

  • I know that this have nothing to do with the vid but, What song is this? LOL

  • @dEdSP sweet escape

  • FAP HER FAPPIN FAP FAP!!!

  • Hey, that's a pretty big apartment for Japan!

You might get some funny looks from Japanese people when they see your shower curtain. You're not supposed to shower inside of the tub! haha

    Fun little tour! :D

  • High quality entertainment. It makes sense that the toilet and the shower are separate.

  • Yes. Adorable apartment, adorable girl. Maybe the Japanese did the captions LOL.

  • awesome vid, thanks for sharing!

  • To small

  • click the cc button and choose translate audio....LOL

  • Not too small

  • she is sexy!

  • On the bed/mattress scene this girl like saying "I think I hate the bed ceiling, bcs I can't do hardcore stuff with ma boyfriend

  • Love the design of that apartment. Of course, being the optimizer I am, I'd have made some more storage above the far side of the living areas wall. (side above the television)

The bathroom design is a little odd. I'd have expected it to have been just the entire room as the shower / bath. It would make more sense that way. Then just have a thin, wide storage compartment for toothbrush, shampoos, whatever, compact long sink, sorted.

  • Vanderkloet. Haaha.

  • Comfy

  • No wonder there's no fat people in Japan.

  • i wouldnt mind living in a place like that, ALONE =]

  • seriously..a place for mice..hahahaha

climbing for that bed is a suffer !!! why !!! hahaha

  • nice, what's the place? i was looking for leo palace housing near shibuya, but just found stuff over 70000 yen / mo

  • I'm in love with that apartment. I can not wait until I go to Japan!

  • claustrophobic! I would have a hard time living this way, and I live in a small mobile home.

  • How much is 55000 thousand yen in American dollar?

  • Wow that is crazy! So this is an average apartment in Japan? How much US would this be monthly? Can you speak Japanese? I want to live there for a while so bad....but the language barrier is a killer. Australia maybe?

  • different days for garbage!? As if there weren't enought people in Jpn to pick up everything at once>>>(no friegue mono!...noooo way!). THey're starting to do the same in the UK...as if the "grass roots" had to knuckle under the laws of the Feds. Thereiare more of us than there of of them!)

  • Cool «Barbie Doll» House!

  • What...? No way in hell I could live there!!! I'd go crazy with the kitchen, claustrophobia central.

  • i like it! i am planning to move there one's i turn 20 and finish my exams

  • I would move there from my 2 story house in the US

  • a trailer would be bigger then that

  • it's perfect!! <3

  • it's quite nice actually, but the wardrobe closet beside the bed is a bad idea..

  • Do conditions like these encourage more time in communal areas?

  • Why a White girl???

  • This is really cool, but I would want a more spacious kitchen than a hallway :P

  • fuck that place..thank god i live in america

  • wow thats kinda awesome to sleep like in ceiling :D

  • And i thought my dick was small......

  • Is that porridge in the tub at 1:05? I thought it was only existed in Scotland lol

  • @vxphsycoxv Yup, although we call it oatmeal :P

  • being 6'3 foot tall... well..... SMALL!

  • lol poor japanese...so glad i wasn't born there. i live in hong kong which is a pretty small congested place already but with 55000 YEN = 5609 HKD you can get a wayyy nicer home than this at least 500 square feet.

  • @xxyanlixx

seriously? we have an apartment leased out to a tenant. the apartment is like 300 hundred square feet, the rent is 7500 HKD. I think what she has is big for 5609HKD.

  • thats like a perfect sized clubhouse for me and im thirteen

  • i like peanut

  • What happen when a 300pound person visit

  • Oh god, that's really really small! xD

  • Oh my god, if a summu ringer losts his way to your apartment.

  • awesome, thank you for sharring. you're a good looking woman too.

  • Cool

  • super cool. I cant wait to go back.

  • closed captioning says " Kidney Transplants"... "The holiday the whole through mice stab itself"., " We watched a secret we have a fishing pole" "skank closes fewer bathroom, he reacts" . LMAO

  • What a terrible way to live.

  • @DoubleTuna

    slightly better than jail.

  • Typical American! Complaining about how small things are compared to America. Be glad you have a clean decent place to live. And turn off that annoying damned music!!!

  • i love that little loft thingy, but i must ask with that apartment being so small than what we are used to.... do you feel more free? because you are compelled to own less stuff and feel more detached or freer? if that makes sense..

  • 0:25 stop watching right there....

    >dat music

  • i know some people wont like this kind of apartment but i actually thinks it lovely and totally wouldn't mind living in one, it looks so snug and cozy!

  • The funniest thing EVER - I turned the CC (voice recognition subtitles) on for this vid. The things it thinks this girl is saying are hilarious!

  • @spider23000 What?? That sounds like fun I wonder what it said....

  • @gingerlita Like at 0:26 when you say "in here we're supposed to store our shoes", but the captions say "in here we're supposed to start shooting".

And then afterwards "but this is our pantry. We just went shopping so we shoved everything we could in here." But the captions say "that this is our country, we just went shopping for the ship everything we could hear."

    Great video btw!

  • @spider23000 ahahahhaahha ya that's soo true

  • @spider23000 LOL! I can't stop laughing reading the cc XD Ok is skank

  • @spider23000 I love the CC - 3:48 "penetrate anyone interested for colorado for family" I nearly pissed myself laughing.

PS video author is a cutie! ^_~

  • @spider23000 the bidth of the bath early february 1.38

  • @spider23000 if i were deaf and used cc id be like WTF???

  • I like it.

  • oh wow i would have looved that apartment when i was like 7, hahahaha XD...

  • omg this is so poor, my bathroom is bigger than this appartment

  • @serratop *Face palm* THIS IS IN JAPAN.

  • @LMA0NAISE Thats why I don't want to live there

  • @serratop LOL What A N00b.

  • @gtachile100 Why am I a noob if I prefer to live in my country where I have space to move

  • That is such a cool apartment! The kitchen/bathroom space is a wee bit small, but the living area's nice. :D And that ladder-access bed is so cool haha.

  • ahhh, too bad that the bed room can't do "woman on top" ...lol

  • I want to know more about the woman living in that apartment ;D

  • this is depressing

  • @lazyercy english please

  • Well thankfully she's thin

  • I would break my neck climbing down that ladder in the middle of the night half asleep, trying to get to the bathroom.

  • how much is 55k yens in dollars

  • @oXStarKillerXo According to a currency converter (which is up to date as of this moment), $55,000 yen is $710 Canadian and $718 USA. So. the rent doesn't sound that bad as that price is pretty standard in many areas of both Canada and the US, but the size is definitely smaller.

  • after seeing that 78 sq foot apartment in nyc this was like heaven!

  • the small space would totally stress me out on day one. i could not live there.

  • I TOTALLY LOVE THE ''BEDROOM''!

  • wowwwwwwwwww! I can imagin , i can't breath in there!

  • Cool apartment tour. I lived in a LeoPalace in Japan too ! That was about 5 years ago though. However I was the first occupant of the apartment so all new appliances ! The layout was similar but there were a few differences. Mine didn't have a loft. No separate toilet either, it was accessed through the same door as the bathroom. Also the bathroom doubled as a drying room, you could hang your washing there and set the control to dry. My rent was about the same.

  • I wont lie the rrom is little but i must say she did well on making it work i like how japanese people uses there space very well, girl you room rocks and i love it small but amazing.

  • its the size of a hotel room

  • for a single person that is a nice apt. only downfall is no dryer. other then that nice apt

  • Good price for that place, and I actually like it, to be honest. I would live there happily. Only problem is the kitchen, I like a big kitchen. Otherwise, I love it! The bed is so neat, I love loft beds, and that place is all your own, and private :) I would not mind living there.

  • She's adorable

  • Sorry for misreading your intent...and, for Y55,000...you stole that place. LOL

  • OMG that fridge is so HUGE!!!! I was like why can't mine be that big?

  • @01miguel0122 。。。ま。。。まじ??でかいじゃないよ! lol (^_^)

  • @gingerlita w = 日本語の「lol」

  • how much do you pay for a lof? (im looking to live in japan after i get out of high school and was wondering if it was alot. i found some thing called Sakura House (.com) and was wondering if they were a reliable source.) IT LOOKS SO COSY!!!! >w<

  • I love how everything is smaller in Japan. Even though I am 6' tall, in a weird sense, I prefer small things. This apartment would be my kind of living place.

  • JAPAN ROCKS ! I LOVE JAPAN AND THE HOUSES ! PS UR SO SWEET !

  • @gingerlita hey i like the vid me and 2 other friends plan on moving down to japan the apartment u live in what are they called i already understand their is no subleaseing but can 2 names b on the contract for 1 room

  • beautiful girl

  • It's incredibly tiny, but it's got it's own charm (: I like what you did with the space, making the most out of it. I LOVE the loft bedroom it is seriously cute! I'd love to have a space like that in my house! :D

  • @jiggawhoification okay so if shes still living there cuz this was posted three years ago and if the rent is still 55,000 a month which i doubt. it would be about 680 us dollars and 19 cents a month

  • seriously i love what u did with ur place. i've watched a few other vids and urs is the most effective use of the space i've seen yet. u made a living room. lol. come march i'll use u as my inspiration when trying to figure out what to do with my apartment.

  • Hello! Do you have rentals in seattle? We rent houses or private residences. Contact us at h()use-in-seattle. c()m if you have rentals in Seattle. Good day and God Bless!

  • its too bad north america doesnt design spaces like this, maybe in dorms, but this is perfect for a cheap bachelor pad

  • small but perfect!

  • WTF!! The space is so small!! But I still wanna go to japan!!

  • 炊飯器があるって事は米を食べてるですよね何か嬉しいかも

  • your apartment is cute, but your definitely cuter :$

  • I would love to live in Japan someday...where in Japan are there places like this? I'd like to have one of my own when I go. Please let me know.

  • im so tall i wouldnt be able to do it doggystyle up in ur room

  • i hope i like it.... I freaking LOVE it!!

  • I'm guessing this video is much older than when it was posted. It's been a long time that I've seen a VHS player without a DVD counterpart with it or near it in the United States, much less in Japan.

But to be honest, if it meant that I could live in Japan, I'd roll with that. I recon it'd be about the same cost as living in NYC.

  • @ShroudedWolf51 Eh It's the same time it was posted...I think that the company I worked for is a little けちなかいしゃ。。so besides for my old MAC everything was provided by the company. Oh and I don't think the technology we have over here is as common over there. The TV's we pay a few hundred bucks for are close to a grand over there...Crazy huh?!

  • @gingerlita I've lived in Japan for three years...and while that was a while ago, when I had moved to the US, they were a decent step behind where Japan was. I can't imagine that suddenly Japan had taken a huge step backwards just out of nowhere.

  • wait so how much would that be in dollars? 55,000 yen?

  • @aliciabho Around $600 or so give or take.

  • @aliciabho that would be 500 dollars. i live also in leopalace but in a bigger apartment with 3 rooms for 800 dollars

  • I was thinking it would be small but your living room is a nice size ...

  • I like it! Looks kinda fun! Reminds me of a camper/trailer we used to stay at...Love the loft! (would it give you a tiny bit more space to turn the bed so your feet are facing the open edge...or is it too short?) i like the sofa bed idea (if he were more polite) or even a fold down wall bed (can't remember what they are called) i also thought maybe a stacking trash bin system would free up a little space to open the oven etc. (like chimney style-chicken coop type bin storage) :)

  • レオパレスだ~

  • I'm planning to move to tokyo, this appartment is pretty cool! I still could find some appartment like this for around 500 dlls? =D

  • Comment removed

  • Awe, I just watched an Abraham Hicks video and just got done visiting the secret website :) I like your apartment though, it's cute, neat and fun size

  • I like it

  • It really is small for its price...in Berlin you can have a 50-80 sq meter apartment with that price (depends on the location and if it's renovated of course) but there are 30 million people in Tokyo compared to 3 million in Berlin so that's the reason :)

  • Looks so awesome! You seem to be happy and that's all that matters! :-)

  • looks alright to me...

  • Why do these people with insanely small homes all have macs...I thought they were about saving money not wasting it.

  • @Darkel08 LOL I noticed that too!

  • it's not a bathroom, it's called TOILET

  • yeahh,im 6'4 i couldent live there

  • they stop recording in the bed cus they going to fuck :D

  • its like living on a cruise ship cabin lol-

  • I hope you are alright.

  • Ugly apartment! excuse me

  • this is kinda a stupid question (I know), but what kind of bugs do you see in your apartment usually? any scary or strange ones? How often do they appear?

  • can i ask were in tokyo did u get the apartment and how did u find cuz i plan to move to tokyo next month

  • hm... why don't i just get a sofa bed.... and have the upstairs as a small computer office space lol... seems better idea to me.. not only I get a real mattress, but I can save space o.o;;

  • Damn some people cant read for real.

55000 yen FIFTY FIVE THOUSEND YEN and that is 486555 EURO.

    1 yen is 0.00885 EURO

  • if i go im bring me a dryer ok lol and dvds and i will get a begger apartment.

  • @alexisanimelover your dryer won't have anywhere to vent

  • I have to clap how nice small house you have, because I saw same stractured house as you have from other filmer, and his house was messed up with every junk possible he can fit in his house.

  • even though it's small, i like it :] it's enough for for one person ^_^

    its cute

  • You really sound like you hate Japan and have a really bad attitude about the way the Japanese do stuff..... So why are you there?

  • Thank you gingerlita. I appreciate it.

  • "The size of an armpit" lol

  • I feel like in an airplane or some sort of a shuttle :)

  • It's spacious enough, its got a second 'floor' xDD I like that, it's soo cool xDD

  • So gingerlita, correct me if I'm wrong but isn't 1 US dollar worth 100 yen in Japan? I think I'm wrong because that would be 5 and 50 cents US currency to live in your apartment. Its seem highly unlikely. But obviously you probably have a job in japan, which might make it more difficult. So I'm I right or wrong?

  • @Jierado 1 US dollar isnt worth 100 yen anymore. it's like 80 yen right now. but back in 2008 it was probably 100 yen but i mean that apartment is pretty small so..i don't know. but she said in her description that 550 yen was what the company said was the minimum they paid. so maybe it was more and we just don't know.

  • @buttaaamilkXbiiiscut I see thank you, I appreciate your answer.
