Alright I have a five hour break between classes so here we go.
1. Yes, as far as I know rondo is the only supplier of agile products.
2. The only problem I have with it is that it is hard to find a big enough string for the low E. I'm sure you could order them but I have just been modifying a bass .70 string. I wouldn't recommend that though as I have to unwind the ball and wire in a new one.
@GuitarBoyEvan I know what I'm doing but if you have not done it before you could risk screwing up a $5 string lol.
3. Yes you can, I have my kahler locked so that I can retune my guitar and not lock it. After having a floyd rose style bridge in my ibanez I got sick of having to set aside an hour to change my strings. l
@GuitarBoyEvan But yes, in theory, kahlers can whammy lol.
4. As you can tell I didn't have a problem and this video was made the first day i got it. I did learn to play fast on a thick squier neck though haha.
5. I can, you'll have to try one to figure it out haha.
Sorry for the late response, super busy with schoool
i'm not a big fan of 8 string guitars but the sound of ure guitar is GREAT! first i thought you just had a tape playing Animals as Leaders xD great played to!
do you have any problems with the standard scale length for the lower string? i cant decide between a 27" or 25" scale agile. ive heard 25 makes it to loose, while a 27 doesnt. but i am not the biggest fan of longer length necks.
@silentstringer90 It makes it a little looser but it's nothing to really worry about. I would just use a bigger gauge string to compensate even if it did. I was in the same boat as you and I went out on a limb on this guitar but I am very happy and would recommend a 25.5" scale if you think it'll be more comfy playing.
hey man coud you tell me about how the 25.5 scale length holds up tonaly, ive heard a lot of stuff, but i know you own one, and are tuned how i am planing on tuning it, wha string gauges you use, it dosent sound buzzy, but i would like to know if it feels lose, thank you
@whosnext1234567 Uhm If you have long fingers, which I do not have I would get a 27" as my friend owns one and the string tension feels a lot smoother. That being said the 25.5" was a very smooth transition from a 6 string. I use a modified .70 nickel wound bass string and D'addario 54.-.09 i think. It's their standard 7-string pack. All in all I don't have any problems with buzzing and tone but a longer scale will make it a little smoother if that makes any sense.
@CleverNameHere81 I've been practicing them, but I decided and spend my time trying to attack cafo's intro as the result will be much more rewarding :P
@UMadUJelly Oh i like it a lot! After playing with both a floyd rose clone (i know it's a little different than a real one lol) and a fixed bridge I really like the kahlers ability to switch between the two. I keep it fixed as of now because I'm not a really big whammy user. I'd recommend it if you were stuck between the idea of floating and fixed or if you just like switching it up like me
@twiztedchild666 have you messed around with a schecter c8 or Damien elite 8? I just bought an elite 8 and the neck scale is 26.5, it's a sweet play for sure
Stopped halfway through this vid just to comment you and tell you that your f# string sounds flat. It's tuned to E and it sounds like your at Eb. Props though for playing, hard song:)
@MegaOshit Agh I know, I just bought the thing a day before and was just so eager to play it. Going from an rgr I was to pumped to here my tuning problem :(
@twiztedchild666 It was definitely an easier transition. I played a few 27" (ltd, ibanez RA8) but I felt more at home with the 25" coming from a 25" scale six string.
And as good as it feels it does kind of lack the Lower string tension and clarity you get with a larger scale. I also have small hands which played into my decision to get a 25". I'd say if you're comfy playing a higher scale you should go for it but I don't regret the 25" at all
@cope9 Thats good to here man, I have heard most people that goten a 25.5" scale 8 string actually liked them when they got it. I have played the Rg2228 before and Loved it played it for 2 hours striat at guitar center lol. How would you compare the Agile to the LTD and Ibanez minus the scale.??
The lowest string is terribly out of tune :c...

can you do an up and down bend on that tremolo
GuitarBoyEvan 5 months ago
Hello Im looking forward to be getting this guitar but have some questions:
1. Did you get it from Rondo and how much did you pay for it?
2. Do you have any problems with it?
3. With the Kahler Tremolo can you do an up and a down bend with wammy?
4. Is the neck easy to play on like is the neck thin or something?
5. Can you shred easy on this?
please respond
GuitarBoyEvan 5 months ago
@GuitarBoyEvan
5.) Shredding is easy on any guitar given these: your fingers are fast enough, your picking speed is fast enough, and your action is low enough
Have fun!
