@BondsMusic he didn't even get to compete in the finals because he was 11 minutes late to check in even though one of the judges was almost an hour late and they didn't even start on time. I know because he is a student of mine and we were ALL devastated. A bunch of people drove up from San Diego to Hollywood and there was a horrible accident on the freeway that made him late. The KOTB officials disqualified him. I'm sure he would've won because I watched the winner at NAMM and there is NO comp
TALENT!!! TALENT!!! TALENT!!! That was awesome:) You would def make it to finals if not win in Americas got Talent!! Lose or Not you would get a record deal:)
my opinion: how did this guy not win. or at least get recognition. creamiest soulful feeling. plus he's got the technicle stuff down to. this is a good guy we have. a more eastern looked eric clapton. fantastic player.
@BondsMusic Because the judging system is totally fucked. I was a judge last years
and even though I scored the better players high the shitty ones got through for some reason. I mean these guys were absolutely amateur crappy but they got through.
It seems like the good players are staying away from this competition at least at my local store. if your good you have to be predictable and boring following the status quot.
dang kid. great sense of musicality for 17yrs old. all the nuances were there. good phrasing, good bends, good vibrato, good note choice. For me, I would say take it a little easier at the beginning, but that's just my opinion.
You got the X-factor of the blues not many possess at a tender age.The maturity is wide open.Carry on. 'will be looking fwd to your first pro sessions or live DVD's. first band relelase, solo albums etc. btw, you just tapped on the best job in the world. Not many realizes that and put that incredible gift to waste. Grab the bull by it's horns. Good luck.
GREAT PERFORMANCE JOSH....you played flawlessly....keep it up and reach for the stars and your dreams...soon you will be up there sharing your beautiful music....very noble of you to donate your Egnater Amp to your school also...you made everyone proud of you....
