i have one and had to install my own equipment too.. i used a 1380kv motor from electrifly.. i also used 7 gram servos and a 10 amp speed control.. for a battery i use 3 cell 450 to 640 mil amp batteries.. here is how it flies..
Nice. Yours has more power with 3 cell. I am pulling a 10x4.7 prop so I would need to switch props for 3 cell. Great videos you have and good to see expalnation of your mods.
