Quite a few little tips & tricks for easy take-offs with some reflex wings. My own 'low wind' method is to set the trims FASTER than normal (wing comes up easier & faster) & do a semi-power forward launch.
Brace your feet, one in front of other .. blow a 70 - 80% wash of air just above center of wing for a good 10 - 15 seconds (REALLY get a flow going), then come OFF the throttle at exactly the time you move forward .. THEN ... BIG throttle as soon as the wing is over head - lean back!
Yeah Both weren't great launches though :) Paramania wings do have a tendency to hold there wing tips in if you dont let your hands up though. And comparing the technique with two different pilots is a little unfair, and different wings. I do semi powered all the time on the Nucleon as it just comes over faster. But then needs to be corrected. Any style that gets you off the ground is a good style in my book hahahaha.
@Galvoflysoz True you are to not accept a fair contest - I found the Synth to take power right from the start where the Revo does not like a power blast directly into the wing. Different strokes for different wings or "different things for different wings". That Tarcy used to be a "no power" inflator but now believes it can help.

@BrianTurboT I tried that technique and it takes away the frustration of no wind, I totally agree.

Thanks Stuart and I agree - a loaded wing is a happy pilot.
