  • Macbook Pro is not hot to much - like while play WOW for example.

  • Does the game run smoothly? And do you have to install windows to play this? Btw great video

  • sorry but sucky movie...:(

  • It hurts. IM INDESTRUCTABLE!!! Awesome xD

  • thank you very much this vid has been very helpful i have been debating wether or not to get a macbook or go the extra mile and get macbook pro but this seems to run things just fine

  • type in spotlight boot camp and it should have it

  • what processor and GPU does this macbook have?

  • GPU surely is the 9400m

cpu i ASSUME is 2,0,as i cant see the keyboad being backlit

  • How do I get Boot Camp? I got Macbook and Leopard, or OS X as some say. What should I do to get it?

  • it comes with leopard

  • Will you make any Video about scenarios or open RvR to test new macbook's performance?

I really want to know if you can play scenarios with a Balanced or only Faster setting.

  • I've played RvR on this same setup and it's been fine.

  • Right click on a Mac laptop is a two-finger click instead. Has been since 2005.

  • you use 2 fingers to scroll.drag 2 fingers up to scroll up and down to scroll down. simple

  • This looks very promissing.

Did you guys try any intense RvR combat? Thats where my current computer (GeForece 8400M GS) has trouble and I start counting seconds pr. frame.

If anyone could make a video of a scenario-battle on the new MB that would be great. Run it at low settings and see how it handles it.

Thanks for the vid again ;)

  • Dude, ever heard of a tripod?

  • Good God this guy is freaking annoying.

  • I also want to know about fan noise. Is the fan noise loud while playing ? is the laptop getting hot ?

  • No fan noise that I noticed. and it gets warm but not super hot.

  • What do you think about the 2.0 model in terms of performances. Do you think it makes a noticiable difference ? I'm not a huge gamer but sometimes I play a lil bit.. I thought that maybe it's better a 2.0 ghz with 4gigs ram than 2.4 ghz with 2 gigs RAM.

  • I think you can safely go for the lower model.

The 0.4 Ghz make a difference, in video encoding for example.

But for games the 9400M GPU will be deciding what you can play and 'cause of that the CPU won't matter that much at all.

Btw.: if you have 1499 $ for a MacBook, you really should try for the Pro instead. Seriously. Even if it's another 500 $.

That's why Apple kept the SuperDrive out of the low end MacBook for so long, because the other ugrades barely made any sense ... in my opinion.

  • sry i have to bother you but can u simplyfy that because i can only understand half =s

  • Youtube is so god damn slow! vimeo is going to kick youtube's ass

  • which macbook are we seeing ?

  • The new one, released this week.

  • it is the 2,4GHz model with 2GB of RAM.

these machines feature an NVIDIA integrated graphics accelerator wich uses up to 256MB of RAM.

Apple says it is up to 5 times faster than the intel integrated graphics on previous MacBooks.

I think it is pretty usable for gaming.

thanks Obsessable for sharing this test.
