try utalizing an EQ with this and you can alter the tone of the guitar amp and effect (fatter,thinner,mids etc.) the key to great tone is EQ! i have this pedal and either use it a boost for gainy rythym or full on gain boost depending on what amp i use ( marshall DSL50, orange dual terror, 64 blonde bandmaster w/showman upgrade) or the 75 fender silverface twin......i think the mic plays a big part in these demos......great clean transparent pedal
@dattoboy1 I ended up getting this pedal. While it is a TS-9 variant, it's got a real mellow gain side, and a great boost. I actually use it for a solo boost with my single coil guitars, because the softer grind matches up well with lower output pups.

While I appreciate the demo, it sounds as if you had to keep the volume way down, which doesn't show how thick and meaty this pedal can be.
