Hey, thanks for this. I just got a canon 50 1.8 and it has the same silver band. And it has the same wobble when attached to the rainbowimaging brand ring that looks just like yours. Your video has saved me much time and wondering. I just got a gh2 so this is all new to me. Cheers from Chester, Pennsylvania.
Same problem with a (silver banded) 50mm 1.4 from Canon :-(
