i have to admit lol if sum 1 hit me in the face i wuld get poed and just go crazy lmao but its kool how they just fight and not get mad that the got beat tha fuck up lmao!
oh boy, these girls won't have to deal with pervs. armbar, choke and even kimura. also I would not encourage them to have competitive fights too often since it can be harmful. even if kids heal fast, but these kids are better off training like this than being obese. nice post I hope MMA grows more to make more safety gear and probably more body studies to know what's okay and what's harmful to protect the future athletes.
stupid ass kids. put no effort into fighting. they should just stop its a waste of cash and time. look at how there fighting its like there playing around with eachother on a trampoline.
At least these kids are wearing head gear, shin guards and 14 ounce gloves. Some people like to watch kid MMA (with 2 or 4 once gloves - no head or shin protection). That's worse. If we make dog fighting illegal, how is it that we allow children fighting in a cage legal?
I love a good fight. I have also fought in all types of full contact events. But these are kids for christ sake. MMA will become a great sport. I love MMA. But this is rediculous. Not to mention that half these kids wont be fighting a year from now. I'd get them into grappling and maybe some good martial arts children's program. They can transition into full contact and MMA in their late teens. It wont be too late at all.
@cloughar I definitely understand! How do they score bouts though? With protection, do you feel that it makes them charge through strikes and emphasize grappling more? Either way, much better for kids than playing karate/tkd foot tag
@009JUSTYN Of course that would be great. Who would'nt want that if my little cousin was in that he would wreck them.. He is a little Muay Thai fighter.
I swear. Boxin' should b a school sport. But I guess ppl, mainly here in da states, r 2 damned scared about it promotin' violence dis and dat or what if my child gets hurt or ... wtf. There r lots of reasons why boxin', and perhaps in da future, pankration (I'm not ready 2 say MMA yet) should b school sports. But I guess ppl feel they aren't ready 4 dat yet.
Nice safe environment, I hope they both keep training. If you want to see video of kids with more experience competing in amateur mma check out the video link at fightleague. o r g
That's great. The way they should train at that age in competition, with equipment. Amateur adult fights in NJ have shin guards and and 7 oz gloves. Nice to see.
It's good to see girls getting into mma at what seems to be a respectable school. Well protected, good rules, demonstrating controlled technique, I like it. Take that Associated Press, this looks like martial arts to me.
Im a so pleased to see that kids are getting a start within MMA at an early age. This would only mean that the sport of MMA will only get bigger and more acceptable. What even made this video great was that these two kids were girls and they both won. CONGRADS!!
Good fight to both of those girls. I feel sorry for whoever picks a fight with them at school lol.
The future of MMA looks bright. 7 year olds are already learning more than most adults know. Can you imagine the talent we'll see by the time this generation gets older?

well presumably the kids aren't meant to kill each other. dog/cock fights...hell any animal fight is usually to the death.

words of gold MAfanatic! fighting full contact at such young age is really harmful for kids

kill joy. thats the joke. of course i don't really want to see children beat each other to a pulp. don't be absurd.

The remarkable thing is that they both control their temper and don't go charging at each other!

At least someone is teaching them properly, it sure beats all the other so called "amateur catfights" on You Tube.
