The Boston Pops is one of the best pops orchestras in the world. Nobody holds a candle to them. I can't say the same about the Boston Symphony these days, though.

Just this past year, in studying music through youtube, did I realize the sound of the Boston Pops is, in reality, the sound of Leroy Anderson.
