@schneke1 i heard on one of the epiodes, people cannot be evicted in britian if they are not damaging the structure of the building. here (u.s.) similar households would face eviction, or condemnation of a privately owned home, followed by a bill for the cleanup. i think messies are forced underground. btw this house is not bad--all the dogs are housebroken [thank godness] and well cared for.

He's not new, this just an episode from the US. There they have an American commentator where the UK episodes have a British one. I'm American but to be honest I find the UK episodes + commentator a whole lot funnier. Plus the US eps have too much product placement! One thing is the same on both versions tho...Kim and Aggie are a friggin riot!;))

I know what you mean. It's one thing to live like that yourself but it's another to inflict those kinds of living conditions on an animal. You have to feel sorry for them too, because they really are caring, compassionate people. I have 1 small (about 16 pounds) dog and I have my hands full just trying to care for her, much less 12.

the american episodes don't look as gross because the rooms are larger and colors of the rooms are lighter and not as dark and grim. When I first saw the british ones I realised that some of these homes are very old and thus smaller. what we consider historic districts here in the states is what the brits have as normal residences. Love to see the country sides...that's for you efforts..
