Just weeks ago, I had a dream about a lost Sesame Street movie that was being made around the same time as Elmo In Grouchland (mid-1998 to 1999). But this one was almost Completely Missing The Point as it was more "action-y" than you'd expect from Sesame Street, with lots of throwing stuff, high speed chases, Ernie (and maybe Bert) getting kidnapped, etc. (continued)
@Fragglevision Continued, the movie also contained a few Big Lipped Alligator Moments, the only one sticking out being a crazy dance number featuring dancers in Twiddlebug costumes. There were also other scenes that might have qualified as BLAMs, but I'm not sure of their relevance as the movie pretty much had no plot. Columbia and Jim Henson Company only made like two thirds of the movie, then they scrapped it. But somehow it got leaked onto Youtube (in the dream). (continued)
@Fragglevision Moving on, after the finished footage worked its way onto YT, I was going to restore it by working the unfinished material into the movie, to make it complete. That included creating the scenes that were never filmed after the project was canned, as well as revising the credits (which had come with its own Award Bait Song) and adding the opening logos - including this one! (continued)
@Fragglevision So in the context of the dream, the reason this logo never made it into Elmo In Grouchland was because it was also being used in another Sesame Street movie that was scrapped halfway through filming for unknown reasons, which made the logo seem useless now.
Wasn't this spotted on the 1999 VHS print of Elmo In Grouchland?

I assume the logo was supposed to be at the end of the closing credits of Grouchland, due to its length.

We made in late 1998/early 1999. It was supposed to run with Elmo in Grouchland.
CTW changed its name and logo a few months later.
