As a Liverpool, and Real Madrid fan the trade of Xabi Alonso was very confusing i was happy for Real getting together a great team but was very worried for Liverpool loosing a crucial part of their starting line without replacement. I didnt really want it to happen, but i also have alot of respect for manu. and supported them agaisnt Barca in champions. I think Manu. has alot to over come they lost a big part of their lethality. Tevez, and Ronaldo where major weapons unreplacable i say.
@anis2k! i didnt hear about this player but you cant just compare him to van nistelrooy it doesnt matter what undiscovered talent he is. ruud is an exceptional attacker and please dont forget that you cant compare the german league with the english league. the premier league is the best league in europe. and further you can be sure alex has his eyes all over the world searching for big talents but its not just being a good player you also have to fit to manchester nd its not always in case
with all the money he got from selling ronaldo, i wounder why fergie dint sign edin dzeko, some of bundesliga's top player. If you take a look at him, you will know that he is just the same as van nistelroy. the kinda of player that is allways on the right spott at the right time to catch some goals ;D
its hard for manchester losing ronaldo but they still have big players and now even a bigger team spirit having no superstar who decides games! if you just look at the community shild final few days ago they played great against chelsea, missing vidic and van der sar two very important players. chelsea was missing nobody. i belive in the experience of sir alex ferguson and i the talent of nani rooney valencia anderson rafael fabio gibson and they older like giggs and ferdinand still got it
in my opinion i think fergie has pulled a masterstroke by signing michael owen this is the kind of player united have been missing over the last 3 years i'm glad michael owen joined manchester united :D
As a Liverpool fan with all due respect I think ManU will have to adjust without Ronaldo more than they think , and Im glad we didnt sign back Owen and was somewhat unhappy losing Alonso, still things move on, no doubt it will be the same four in the top flight and come Christmas rants will be going on, just hope there can be a bit of variation to scores and so many teams wont just lie down against manu.
As a liverpool fan I agree, but the statement he made today about liverpool not having a chance for the premier league was irrespectfull. He is the greatest manager football has seen, but you should never treat other teams as crap. You never know what can happen.
It's just Fergie speaking his mind, and the little mind games he likes to play.
He's done it with so many managers in the Premier League and he rarely ever comes off second best. I think he is the best at winding people up as well.
But don't worry about it too much, if Rafa is smart enough he would just ignore it this time round.
I hope both of them can finish their arguments once and for all. Last year it was impossible to read a liverpool or manchester united news. without angry fans. I read the comment, " fat scottish prick" and "fat spaniard waitress" so many times, I had dreams about it. And yeah. this is probably just mind games.
Great manager, but is any1 else finding how he has his "favourites" pretty annoying? I mean he doesnt wanna talk about losing the CL final because it was his sentimentality that made him put Park on and waste rooney. Also when is he going to wake up and see that Berbatov is never in a million years gonna be cantona or even a crocked michael owen!? And finally he drove Tevez out the club.. cuz he didn't "rate" him..wtf?! Come on fergie dont be so fucking stubborn!
everyone that taight ronaldo was leaving manu,,,they tink there still gonna beat manu now micheal owen is way better den ronaldo and 1 more thing,,,,,,FUK LIVERPOOL AND CHELSEA,,BRING IT ON!!!!!
Still think Man U are the team to beat. Arsenal will improve, Chelsea getting older and Liverpool signing left backs and selling goal scoring mid fielders. Only Man City have signed 'Marquee' names. Hughes will be gone by Chrimbo if they don't gel. How many ego's can you cram into one changing room? Makings of a panto side.
I think Owen will prove to be the best signing across Europe this summer. Coming off the bench to grab goals in the tight games (where titles are won and lost) Double figures. Get your house keys on it!! Monster Monster.
yh ur right at first i was worried about signin michael owen i was like wot r u doin but thinkin about it heyll be an excellent sub comin on tryin hard to prove himself with a limited amount of time

i dont know, but i guess the sir still thinking to bring back ronaldo, as i read in an interview
i think ronaldo will not be at his best in real madrid, but in manutd he is the perfect
in real madrid there are a lot of star players, so the chances for ronaldo is less than when he is most respected in manutd
