I listen to one of her songs and almost always think that the way she sings it is exactly the way it should be sung. One of the greatest pop (country is really a branch of pop) singers of the 20th century.
@larrydonguy I'd have to say the 'ABSOLUTE GREATEST SINGER' (Country) of the ENTIRE 20th century. There is NO ONE ON EARTH as great as Patsy Cline. or ever, 'will' be,for that matter ! Brad Savage --Lifelong Fan.
Not all young ones have no taste in music thankyou! I grew up listening to Patsy and she is by far one of my all time favourites!
I have played her music to quite a few of my mates and they are now fans of her music too. To quote one of my 'young' friends, "Now that's a voice!" He then sat there and listened to every one of her songs that he could find on YouTube.
So some of us younger ones do know good music when we hear it =)
Songs that you don't hear but remember even years latter then hear them again and they still hold your attention again like they did before then they are classics
Patsy's one of them.
Very few of the young ones know what good music is because all they have heard all of their lives is does not deserve the label music if the only way to listen to it destroys your hearing!
@highlanderlewis ROTFL!!!!!!!! OMG I luvvvvvvvv that MOVIE!!! I just read 'who came here because of nat born killers' and I thought , really?? never heard that in there have to watch it again and thought of the pillows and grinned and LO and BEHOLD!!... there they are XD XD XD
