It is a good approach with using a microphone though the input level has a little louder on the sound cracked. I suppose that you should lower the input level a little more.

@christianamagic aku pakai alat rekam USB, jadi colok kabel gitar ke sana, trus alat itu colok ke komp by USB. Namanya Line6 UX2. Kalau kamu main gitar elektrik, itu berguna banget, karena banyak efek gitar yang included.
