  • You have to admit Nixon ,Bush, Reagan,Clinton, were not the best thing for this country. Carter wanted to help he was more honest and wanted to help people but he stunk as a politician.

Ford was status quo but he was no boat rocker but bland bland company man. The one thing they all have in common is fundamental understanding and ability to keep us in protracted wars for their corporate underwriters. You will never get elected unless you show your value to stimulate corporate war profits.

  • Too True!

  • Brilliant and so true. Where does Pierre teach? I'd love to see a lecture.

  • I love Coffee and Pierre and the title but the Orange County Starbucks or whatever it is has a bad taste to it.

It is funny that 99% of the people around you must be

republicans and that makes for some fun but this would actually be a bit better if you played it up.

Mabe show some SUVs pulling up and show a bit more of the hostile atmosphere that Pierre's ideas are really in. Oh, and bring your own coffee.

  • Although, this trend is good for the Upper-class because it will eliminate the middle class, allowing the rich to get richer

  • The implications for USA continuing with no consequences are that to maintain the current standard of living the American sheep, the administration will need to borrow more money; therefore, going into further debt. If the Iraq war was not funded by Japan and China the American sheep would see there quality of life dramatically decrease, to 3rd world levels, and they would actually wake up and do something about the Neocons in power. By then it would be too late.

  • Actually, Dennis Kucinich is the only member of senate who voted in favour of cutting off funds to Iraq. Obama, and Clinton both voted to allow the increase of funds for the Iraq war. Therefore, Kucinich is the only one with integrity because everyone is saying lets do "troop redeployment" but none of them act. Bush does not follow binding resolutions, do we really expect him to follow non-binding resolutions?

  • Kucinich is a member of the House, not the Senate. Now that Kucinich dropped out of the race Ron Paul is the only major party candidate who has consistently opposed the war, US imperialism and has always voted to de-fund the war. Sadly, many on the left will not support him as he is (nominally) a Republican.

  • Sorry about the Mistake, Mosier. I did mean to say that Kucinich is a member legislative assembly in general, just confused the two. As for Ron Paul, I like Mike Gravel more.

  • A continuing debt upon our great grand children, the iraqi citizens, and if we continued to act as if our wars would not affect us at home, we might strike Iran and some years later North Korea, if they don't comply.

  • I just hope that US does not invade Iran because Putin seems to be pretty jealous right now that USA can invade anyone without consequences. Although, 600 000 dead Iraq's should matter the US does not give a Sh#t about Iraqi blood.

  • What you have said is powerful, what do you think are the implications of the US continuing to function as if there are no consequences?

  • of course there will be consequences and im shure they are very aware...it has little effect on how they will conduct themselves on foriegn soil...no one ever thinks back to how we got into Iraq and the obvious "Justifiable military intervention"

  • Donald Rumpsfield also comes to mind though he has left our government.Bush, his administration are more oriented in taking over this counrties, and other countries resources above anything else. Not to mention a father son legacy and trillions of unaccounted for American dollars...Dick Cheney former ceo of Haliburton, which holds the largest open contractual agreement with the United States Gov't ever, largest deficet in the United States ever!

  • Did you hear Bush's insane notion during his State of the Union address? He declared (to the applause of Congress) that this insanely enormous deficit will be paid off in two years, and without raising taxes!

  • yes, unfortunatly I watched the address...the formalities of our govt make me sick, I cant even preceive them as real people...

  • Yeah get these mad men out of the office!

  • Hillary Clinton for president? doesnt seem like such a bad idea considering she has the best finacial advisor ever, Bill Clinton.

  • Any one who is not a damn warlord for a change! Seems they all want to get into office and then send armys to every damn country!

  • Why do you think we elect the most neurotic of all mankind to be our leaders? What would be the consequences of choosing and electing someone who is a master at leading well, rather than a politician?

  • These people cheat to get where they are! I mean Bush got the least votes and got in! We need some one who will be truthful to us most of all stay away from war and look towards a better solution for the world and solving problems. There are soo many things I could point out that these people are holding back and making the world a very unkind bad place to be! I'll make a vid I think! Peace!

  • You articulate my own thoughts far better than I. Thank you for posting. Next interview, maybe go somewhere a little more quiet. The back ground noise makes it somewhat difficult to hear your articulate words.

  • Thank you daligoddess, I have only been filming for about a week and I am delighted to have feedback. I would not have posted this clip, but it was such a great talk, that I risked the poor sound quality.

  • Oh yes! I definately agree, the talk was WELL worth the risk of poor sound quality! (I watched it seven times) Thank you again for posting such intelligent and articulate thoughts.

  • Keep them coming Lisa! I love coffee with Pierre.
