ABSOLUTELY ANNOINTED BY THE HAND OF GOD! These songs are SO powerful, that they give me goose bumps sometimes! An awesome song to watch is called "Mercy Throne" by Dottie, but is sung to her mom. If you search "Reba Rambo-McGuire Mercy Throne" then it will come up. IT IS AWESOME, and will move you to tears! U can see how touched Dottie is watching her dgtr sing it to her.
Dottie Rambo wrote somewhere in the neighborhood of 2,000 songs in her lifetime. What a legacy to gospel music! She had a gift, there's no doubt, and we will all enjoy that gift for years to come.
Dottie was probably in here mid 40's here. She had Reba at 17. She said her and Reba grew up together. This video was in the 70's because I saw them in concert then and they looked just like this.
@girlswithguitars859: SO TRUE! They came to our Church "First Assembly Of God" in Baton Rouge, LA upon the release of the "There Has To Be A Song" album. That was around 1976, and they LOOKED JUST LIKE THIS! This is MY FAVORITE album by them! That was their look in the early to mid-seventies.......
My favorite Rambo song ever. Thanks for posting. I remember the local DJ had to reorder the lp as the requests for this song were so many, they kept wearing out the record and it would skip. Is there a clip of them "What Will It Be Beyond The River For Me"? Another great song
