This is a fantastic new show that deserves to stick around for several seasons, and I really hope it does. One of the great things about it is how it integrates the couple's three children honestly and in a comedic way, without just making it a kiddie show that adults can't enjoy. The kids on "Everybody Loves Raymond" were barely present because the writers didn't want to overuse them. "The Middle" proves that they can enhance the show without ruining it. All three of them are talented.

Is it just me? It's called-The Middle. It's so much like Malcolm in the middle it's sad. The 2 youngest children in both shows are exactly alike. My issue with Patricia is that she's the same in every role. This is her character from Raymond to a T. I like the acting but the writing is going to have to get better.

This and Chuck are our famiy's favorite shows. It is one of the few times all 6 of us get together to what a chow and laugh together.

if you like Malcom In The Middle then you will love this show, some people might not like the "reality" factor but i think thars what makes the show so GREAT!

ELR is a hard act to follow, but I really like The Middle - great cast and good writing.
