I dont think this is true. Ive been to Waltons mountain and its in virginia were I live. This house looks nothing like the real house at all. I will have to look up online and see if this is the real house or not.

Kami Cotler moved to Nelson County years ago and was a teacher in a local elementary school. she has since moved back to Los anglees with her husband and ch9ildren and they run a charter school.

I was at this house back in 1984 when Doris Hamner was still living there. She was gone into town for the afternoon so I missed out on meeting her. The proprietor of Ike's store said she loved having visitors. Too bad, it would have been wonderful to have met her.

We were there back in 73 or 74. Mrs. Hamner and her youngest son still lived there. He was mowing the yard and we stopped to ask directions to the "Walton House". He said, "You're lookin' at it".
