I got bored watching this, where was the aikido? Two guys with a tanto, one attacking and the other grabbing to stop it touching him, even the attacks were terrible.

But its not a real knife is it? I know mick hes my sensai Bob Jones' daughters' husband. He is extremely good at aikido and believe me if you walked up to him in the streets and started giving him stick, he would literally kick it out of you.

I've been doing aikido since i was, i'm british national junior champion. I know my stuff.

You seriously wouldn't know the first thing about aikido unless you have done it and you are fairly experienced. I suggest you stop debating and try it for yourself

who attacks with a knife, or defends against one, like this in real life? i know it's just a tourney, but it looks silly. if it was a real knife, they would lose their fingers.

@shadowdusklives tis seen more as a  "Scoring Batton" than a knife in competition to be honest.
