The western art style looks out of place I am really not digging this at all. The CGI looks fine, I can let that slide but I just can't get past that cartoony style that really does not fit the theme of Voltron. Looks soo cliche and half assed.

Wow, first a remake of Dragonball Z, then rehashing the old themes of Power Rangers in Power Rangers Samurai trying to show Saban is back, then I find out about a remake of ThunderCats, now this. @evilmonkey1075 I assume you're referring to Dragonball Z Kai, which is not a remake but rather a watered down, family friendly version of the original where they take anything that is or could be considered offensive & change it/remove it. In other words, they made it into complete crap. I agree with you btw. All they need to do now is do a shitty remake of Dinoriders & M.A.S.K. & they'll have shit on our childhood completely. flash... why the HELL use flash?! the animation is stiff, the characters don't look natural to their environments, random CGI when they decide to get "lazier". they did worse with speed racer but my god seriously? just how do they think this is a good idea?

and pidge is voiced by "double d" from ed edd and eddy...

and why is it flash is becoming the new standard? why can't anyone make the effort doing REAL animation? orz

im really open minded about these things, but the animation looks like it's going to be one of those action cartoons where the violence is tame, the characters are annoying and the cliches are cliches. Kinda like the last Fantastic 4 Cartoon.

I was a fan of the original and the fact I consider the animation from a show 2 decades ago as better is really sad for this show. I hate the designs and the animation I've seen so far. Maybe a superior story can win out but I'm not getting my hopes up just in case. I'll give it a try at least before I either watch or ignore it.

Ah the mech design isn't bad but the character design and animation looks deplorable. I mean you'd think they realized how bad Speed Racer looked in that style and now they're doing it again? Why, I ask you, why?

I'm looking forward to checking our Thundercats but I don't think I'll be able to sit thru this. If they care this little about the artwork, the writing will be TERRIBLE
