  • wow, that was pretty cool :)

I wish I could do things like that...

  • Hello, i want to know how can i start scripting on unity 3d, i know 0% of scripting, so how can i learn it? (best software to practice/best websites to get started, and i really need a list of "commands" like what each symbol do, like // or ( ), i want to begin whit javascript )

  • you should of actually shot the arrow instead of just testing if the object was in the direction vector of the player. great game

  • @meming4 Thanks, I had to write it within a week as a project for a summer camp program so a lot of features didn't quite make it in. Unfortunately, I quickly changed which libraries and everything I use for coding afterward, so this never got any further.

  • I Will Subscribe You And Rate If You Then Will Make A Tutorial

  • @MarioLuigi5959 A tutorial on programming?

  • are you a computer science major

  • this is really good! wish i could do it lol.

  • which engine? or is it completly coded in c++?

  • what compiler was this made in?

  • It was made ages ago (Back when I was on Windows) with a beta and buggy library. But it was compiled in Visual Studio since I used that the most back then. - Sorry for the late reply by the way.

  • Im not so sure about your aim man, but the project is cool. :)

  • Thanks, and well I did play this on my laptop using the touchpad. LOL

  • well done!

  • Thanks, I'm glad you like it. :P

  • Believe it or not, you could do this as a ROM hack. Just code in C, compile with mips-gcc, hook your code, and you have this hack in OoT.

  • Yes, but this was never intended to be a ROM hack. I made it as a demo while learning OpenGL in fact it didn't even have the "LoZ look" until later stages; was a pretty generic looking shooter at first. ;)

  • Off to learn programming I go.

    This is pretty awesome.

  • Nice thanks! ill try that page :b,

  • Thats true :b i am also begun to make math programs, and i made (in c# though) a 2D sprite moving around and when it hit the edges it go another way :) found a great tutorial and a book,

  • That's good, I learned a bit from a couple books. There are tons of resources on the web. Try cplusplus(dot)com. But the best method is trial and error in my opinion. :P

  • Hey uhhm, when you was a ''noob'' like mee, and first wanted to make a game, how did you started to learn it? i got c++ and c# and tons of other programs, btu i need how to learn c++ ;) or maybe c# but its best with c++ :D sorry my language, but if you can help i would appreciate it, because this is so far the best program i seen

  • I started out with just making basic stuff with C++. Try making a simple tic tac toe game or even simpler: a random number generator and then try to guess the number. Just work your way up slowly. Taking too big of steps will just throw you off and make you lose interest. ;)

  • dude,i love you lol. do you have any tips for barely beggining proggramers?

  • hey i never noticed this before :)

    its good!

  • Glad you like it. LOL Fun project to have made in the week deadline. :P

  • I like the concept, but I think the arrows shouldn't hit the targets instantly, as if you're using a laser gun. Add a short delay between releasing and hitting the targets, it would look better.

  • Yeah, the game was really just a demo though. It was a project I did for a camp so I only had a week to program it. Haven't really touched it since then. Didn't like the add-on library they made us use. :P

  • Cool hack mate, i don't know too much about programming and such, especially C++ ...but this is impressive :)

  • It isn't actually a 'hack'. The whole thing is programmed from the ground up with C++ and OpenGL. LOL

  • OMG that's awesome I love you!!!

  • i wanna see the source file

  • It could use a sound effect when you hit the target.

  • Actually, it does have a sound when you hit the target. That's what the *thud* sound is after each shot that hits. ;)

  • is there a program i need to use for c++ programing

  • Well, you need a C++ compiler. Other than that, it depends on what you are doing, but that should be all you need for most general programming. Especially, if you are just learning. :P

  • Oh, I see. Perhaps the sound effect should be the one when in Kokori Forest you got a blue rupee by jumping on 3 platforms across water? It would make a better noise so you know that you hit it, because it is a little hard to hear the thud noise.

  • Nice game. I'm thinking that's you dressed as Link on the title screen? ;-P

  • No that isn't me, although that would have been cool. LOL

  • Huh? This is a custom game for the computer that I programmed. I love the Zelda series, that's why I made this in the first place. I'm not mocking the Zelda series. ;)

  • oodie97, if you can't spell words correctly, don't use them.

  • nice add some options like different arrow bigger targets more textures (not only light medailon) bonus levels more stages some sort of adventure mode and many many more

  • pretty awesome

  • haha i was there when u were making this game!!! lol

  • awsome show what people can do

  • The statistics in the corners of the screen look like crap, but this is great.

  • Yeah, the video quality distorts them, but they are really just for debugging purposes anyway.

  • Yoshimitsu: WELL DONE!

  • Looking Pretty good :P

  • yay

  • Cool
