Great vid. I think that hunchback of notre dame is a Disney version of phantom of the opera. Think about it! Quasimodo likes Esmerelda, just like the phantom liked Christine, but Esmerelda liked Phobeus, just like Christine likes Raoul. They both have deformed faces, and they barely had a life outside of their sanctuary.

It kind of goes with Phantom as far as passion and desperation, but it's hard to picture Erik thinking himself a "holy man". Or wanting Christine to die if she didn't love him.
