I also remember a later episode where Mathman was out walking Mathdog (yes he had a dog), so Mr. Glitch filled in for him. It turns out Glitch isn't much better than Mathman, and he got a wrong answer just as Mathman and Mathdog returned. Mathman then proceeded to sic Mathdog on him, resulting in a Game Over for Mr. Glitch. Now that was some karmic retribution.

No, the variable x was never actually used in the sketch, and Mathman was only able to eat numbers "2 more than a multiple of 5," which 25 is not. Besides, by your logic, 78 was right also (x=15.2), as is every integer!

(Of course, the easiest way for Mathman to decide which ones he should eat is by looking to see whether the number ends in 2 or 7...)
