I read the original/oldest Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic translations. The Septuagint, Dead Sea Scrolls, Peshitta and 2nd oldest Hebrew bible Leningrad Codex/Aleppo Codex translation Biblia Hebriaca. That's enough for me :) I never read King James version luckily. Yes, I like Luther's style :)

WW2 is studied briefly but only in the context of battles and the movements of the different military groups. Lots of study is made of British history as well. In KS4 the rise of Nazism is a big topic, but there is NO question in the GCSE history exam that is taken at my school, related to the Holocaust.
The only time I have seen the Holocaust mentioned as a topic was at GCSE A level, and it is a choice amongst several others. It is not compulsory study.
