Ive done about 5 run throughs of this game,,, and just watching this video this guy taught me 2 new tricks. 1- magic powder on bunny star thing turns to fairy. 2 you can run into something to jump over fire ball. thanks brh1186 =)

Ummm... how did he follow Ganon? That bird isn't supposed to transport Link while he's in the Dark World because the bird resides only in the Light World... Deus Ex Machina for the win!

@FLCL420 The only ones he missed were allowed to be missed because they are replaced anyway. 100% is your end game score no matter what because of it.

@NinjaOnANinja its like castlevania sotn where you need to visit every room to get the full 200.6% or a 100% super metriod speed run i watched where he got every rocket chest even tho he didnt need them at all. the point is every place and item was found, so you see everything that was put into the game. aka 100%

The rockets count because they add up, they don't replace. It doesn't matter if you need them, you can hold infinite bombs and arrows, in metroid, you can't.

this was my favorite game as a kid. but i cant compare this to final fantasy VII, X, X-2 or XII. its too close. i know most people dint like 12 or x2 but i enjoyed them so shush.

In the room at 1:35, It might be faster to time it to where you head up the upper path directly after the fire snake thing gives you enough room to pass and light the upper torch. Ignore the right one for now. Light the left and bottom torch like you did. When you touch the southern door use the Cane of Somaria to light the right torch from across the gap. Your already at the door, so when it opens just go through.

I thought the Second Agahnim Fight was easy, since you had 3 energy shots coming towards and if you hit all of them correctly at the real Agahnim, he was done quickly.

Aight, yeah Ganon is a bitch in this game. Just make sure to slash at him like crazy at every chance you get. And take like three 3 posions and one green posion( the one for magic mot sure if its this color).

Damn right this is the greatest game of all time. I love all the games in the Zelda franchise but out of all of them this one was always my favourite to play and was always the most interesting. Not that the other games weren't i think they were all so incredible but the thing is this game was so perfectly put together and not to mention it was voted the number one game of all time in pretty much every video game magazine i read when i was a kid. The awesomeness of this game will never be beat.

yup. it's fucking endless. dungeons are monotonous and confusing as hell too. plus without a player's guide you'll rarely know what to do or where to go.

good way to waste lots of time if you have little else in your life though, i suppose ...

i'll stick to quicker games, i think. :)

I am pretty sure you would have to have gotten that shield, as it is gotten from and used to pass the seventh dungeon. The red tunic is gotten in Ganon's Tower, out of the "big chest" and if you got the silver arrows you were a hairs breadth from having the level 4 sword. The second fairy who gives you the arrows has another gift she can bestow...

nope. ocarina is greatest zelda. im sorry, but it was just such an incredible step.... i first owned the very first zelda on the NES (didnt get links adventure, was crap), then this on the SNES, and then long wait until the N64 came out, and ocarina was literally the greatest thing ever to happen in video games. im sure many people would agree.

Wonderful to watch. I'd say the only thing that is regretable is that if you don't know the game - ie. if you haven't beaten it, you don't get the story, it moves too fast, so you lose that part of the experience.

But all in all a great run. Thanks for cutting it up and posting it!

in fact I've played this game too much as a child, that's why I runned it 2 years ago. And when I was young, my goal wasn't to run the game... I've completed about 50 times the english version of the game and 50 times the french version of the game, because yes, I had both! But I sold them later. When I wanted to run it serisouly, the only version I found was in french.
