  • I was in tears by the time I finished watching the video.

Imagine the agonising pain it was in during the entire time it made its way back home! But its love for its owners was what that had made it persevered. To go HOME.

  • Praise God

  • i'll take him, what a horrible family thats one loyal dog!

  • Oh wait... they give him away?! I take it back. What assholes. People like that don't deserve a beautiful animal like that.

  • When she talks about his fractures, I got really sad. Poor baby. I can't imagine what kind of pain he must have been in. What a great story.

  • I was excited to hear about the story and could not believe that the family gave him up after he struggled to get back home. It's a classic story about an animal's loyalty. I have had a pet return home after an unexplained disappearance and it's one of my fondest memories. I hope he's loved, cared for and happy now.

  • what fucking loser owners. leave the dog in the house and then abandon him? when he CRAWLS back to them? pieces of shit. the dog is amazing and i hope he's been adopted by people with real hearts.

oh my god, this story makes me so fucking pissed.

  • Como é possível não ficar 24h com um cão maravilhoso como este ?Espero que este cão nunca mais volte a sofrer e que seja MUITO amado, é o mínimo que merece. LOVE YOU Mason! LOVE YOU Mason!

How can't you have this dog 24h a day????? I hope this dog will never suffer again and will be VERY loved, is the least he deserve. Mason LOVE YOU! Mason LOVE YOU!

  • the fat dude in the hat at the end is sooooooo right!

  • Are they gonna fix his broken legs? Seriously....get to work on that! It isn't fun to have broken legs without casts!

  • I bet they took there i-pads cell phones and useless possesions, possesions that you can replace, someone should take that dog away from them, how the fuck can you leave him behind?? I know I will get a lot of guff for saying that ,and 99.99% of it will be from people that have never had a dog or pet, I hope when things get better , Mason takes a huge shit right on there pillow , and takes a piss in there shoes !!! I got your back Mason !!!

  • I don't know the real story, but why was that dog left in the garage in the first place, after what he went through , and he came back to me, that dog would never leave my side ever again,!! ever ! and to give him away ,, ????? ,god made a big mistake when he made dogs ,he did not allow them to live long enough, you are never more close to your pet then when they die!! , GIVE THAT GOG A BIG HUG FOR ME !!

  • @maxcomehomenow Yeah, you're right. You don't know the whole story . . .

  • That is so sad that those people would give him to a shelter after he went threw so much just to get back to them. Some people are just heartless.

  • The owners must have been very good to this dog & loved him or he would have not gone to such an extent to get back to them....All you people who have bad things to say about them should try putting yourself in their shoes. He needs medical care & they can't give it to him now, they will be reuinted as soon as possible....

  • @linimurawski

dogs come back to you just like a 3 year old come back to you even if you mistreat him. Learn something idiot

  • @linimurawski

how are they going to be reunited ? you just make shit up in your head to justify them uh? that is called delusion so go get a psychiatrist idiot. FACT; they abandoned their dog, they are bad for the dog. REalize it idiot.

  • Of course he is in pain! His legs are broken!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why was he hiding in the garage during a tornado in the first place? The owners should have had him with them!!!!!!!!!

  • god, that breaks my heart. i hope he isn't in pain. i hate seeing his legs flop around like that. :(

  • Such a blessed and wonderful dog. Dog's really can't show much more companionship than this, I hope their holders will keep that dog as a family member until its final breath. Lucky animal.

  • If that dog went thru all that to get back to me. He would be with me always !! Even if we had to camp out in the yard while getting my house rebuilt. The fact that the shelter has him bothers me.

  • @chicodkid

the owner is a irresponsible piece of shit. My dog is like my children, they are with me even if we would have to be undre the bridge. His dad abandoned him when the dog MOST needed him. Fuck that dad is a piece of shit

  • owners suck fuck u u deserve shit. Obviously they don't treat him as part of their family. So worried of their house and personal belongings and not the dog. That dog just crawled miles in broken leg to get back to home, to his family but instead given to shelter? for what reason? no money? yet they build that humongous house. FUcking alabama REDNECKS.

  • i don't think they gave the dog to the shelter, i think the shelter is just caring for him while they rebuild their house... so they can take care of him and make sure he heals right and all that.

    what a sweet dog

  • @hurleygurlie2388 I don't think the owners signed off on the little guy. I think they just want the shelter to care for him because he does need medical care while they clean up from the tornado. There's probably a lot of debris laying around he could get hurt on.

  • So where were they when the tornado hit and why wasn't he with them??? He obviously loved them enough to crawl home with two broken legs and they gave him up? That pisses me off. I'm sure that someone would have financially helped them out with the vet bills. As the owner of a furry child I couldn't do this. Even if I had to stay with friends or relatives I would have my little one with me at all times.

  • OMG!!! That little dog crawled on two broken legs just to get home to his P.O.S. owners and they can't be bothered to care for him?!?!?! Those people deserved to get their house blown away.

  • okay, i dont give two shits if their house was a bit knocked about after a tornado, i would never, EVER give my dog away just because she was injured and needed additional care. it wouldnt matter if my house was obliterated or i lost all my possesions, id still love her. especially after the poor thing crawled home! thats just a family who didnt love their dog, im sorry but this is a fact, this story isnt touching, its heartbreaking.

  • @likeastarbaby I would understand if they had asked the shelter to take care of him WHILE they put their life together and then take him back home. Maybe, they'll do that, I hope they do that...

  • @maritz3 yeah i was thinking that...but then surely the story would have said that? the only excuse for giving him away would be if they genuinely could not afford to buy dog food or pay for him. the shelters must be inundated with animals injured by the tornado. the fact of the matter is that their house was ruined and they dont want him in the way taking up time when theyre trying to rebuild it. if they wanted someone to look after him temporarily they would have given him to a friend.

  • @likeastarbaby Well I found this article about it on ABC News called "Dog Finds His Way Home After Alabama Tornado", it tells a completely diferent story about the owners and says they will take him back, he's gonna go back home when he is healed. Can't post links, but it shouldn't be hard to find

  • @maritz3 That appears to be what they did. At least that's what it sounds like in the story...

  • I can't even count how many times I've read about these people supposedly "giving away" their injured dog. Sorry, but this is simply not true. They only agreed to allow the vet clinic to keep Mason in their kennel (which the clinic offered to do and even recommended) while they were homeless and trying to get their lives back on track. It makes perfect sense, too. Mason did in fact go back to his family as planned, just as soon as that became possible. He was NEVER "given away."

  • @bentleyr00d it doesnt matter. I would deff. Choose my dog over my house. Maybe because i had him all my life....but still.

  • @NickiLovesyouu They DID choose their dog. They chose to give their dog the help it badly needed. They also have their little children to think about. How is it better to move a badly injured dog & their young kids into a tent somewhere w/ no electricity, running water, or ongoing vet care than to do what's best for everyone involved...i.e. accept the vet clinic's generous offer of free medical care and *temporary* lodging while the dog heals AND the family gets back on its feet???

  • @bentleyr00d no they didnt. Dogs are like children! Thats like giving your kid away! They could have taken him to the vet, simple as that! My mother has 3 kids! Shes single, and we have this big ass house with all these electronics in it, "big expensice t.v we have to pay, hig ass bills, everything" and my mom has NO job rigt now, and its been this way for a while. But she STILL manages to get everything we ask for, and get our shih tzu his shots and vet care and etc. So what your saying is Bs.

  • ....what the hell, poor dog.

goes all the way home and then gets given away?!? to a shelter...

  • milena: exact sentiments

  • So the poor dog crawled all the way home to his owners to be rejected? Nice.

  • Dogs are WONDERFUL, loving KIND creatures with more loyalty and UNCONDITIONAL LOVE than most humans. The best type of people are DOG PEOPLE....the least trustworthy people are those who don't like dogs. Our dogs have brightened our families life so much!

  • gave my dog a hug after this, dogs are amazing!

  • Poor animal. These is the type of thing that just makes me wish I was dead, to see a pure innocent creature like the dog suffer so much and then you see evil human beings like George W. Bush prosper, it's just too much. Why are the dog's legs not in a cast?? Does anyone know?

  • @LaSerpentaCanta This video was BEFORE his surgery. He's fine now, resting comfortably under watchful eyes, and will soon be reunited with his family.

  • @onekinkstar oh, thank god.

  • @LaSerpentaCanta what the hell does bush have to do with this story? dont bring our PRIOR president into this?? if you wanna talk about evil human beings, our president is a walking talking example..... just wow.......

  • This is a touching story and everything... But, I would actually have the dog put to sleep because it is no longer able to live a normal life as a dog anymore. =/

Please don't get me wrong here. And I am saying this as a fellow dog owner.

  • @Glasseh Perhaps you misunderstood the dog's injuries. His legs were broken and that's all - no reason to let him die. He had surgery last week, has casts on both legs and is resting without much movement to help him heal. He will be back with his family soon!

  • ok, people. Let's stop the bs bickering and praise the love for his owner this dog has that made this luckt fellow struggle to come home.

  • You have to love that dog...

  • Oh and just because you can see the garage or the front step doesnt mean the roof or the other 3 walls are there!!!!!!!! I have personally gone through this area and well you guessed it, not a WHOLE lot left. I guess anyone that has an animal and keeps them in one room of the house or in a pin in the back yard while they are not home are terrible people that need to be hung! What a joke. Thanks for your support during this HORRIBLE TIME! Signed Alabama folks!

  • @ClaireMK2008 EVEN IF walls are there, it's highly likely there are is no electricity, water or gas services.

  • @onekinkstar I know. That's the thing people see the steps and a front door and assume the rest of the house is there and that everything is safe and sound. Um no. We were without electricity where we are for a week or more. Most businesses ran off of generators. I donated lots of baby items and food. I was just making a jab at the people who think they know it all about this situation. Unless you live it you don't know.

  • Hahaha! You people are ignorant! Wow! Have you guys seen any stories on Tuscaloosa? Well that same tornado stayed on the ground until it hit Birmingham. Yeah 80 something miles! Stupid family was at work and school that day because it was the middle of the day. Industries and school systems didn't cancel work or school because there may or may not be a tornado. How dare they put their dog in the garage where he couldnt tear things up or better yet a pin in the backyard. Terrible family! :D

  • Amazing story. Dogs are beautiful animals, mans best friend!!!

  • @TheOmegaEffect IF you'd paid attention, THEN Perhaps you'd know the answers to your questions, BUT apparently you'd rather judge and be nasty to me. Just stop . . . Move along now.

  • @TheOmegaEffect The dog is getting cared for and will come back home when he's better. What's 'bullshit' is all the people on here who didn't pay attention to the story and got it all WRONG.

  • so god damm inspirational and happy sotry...it truly is fantastic that this dog isnt traumaitzed to the point of aggression...i have a katrina suvivor dog we adopted here in toronto he came from ohio and before that louisiana....hes made such a long trip and hes the best dog i could ever ask for..this dog reminds me alot of my dog...great story

  • awww thats just sad. so how is he doing today. i hope he is okay. i will pray 4 him. i loive dogs and cats. bless his heart.

  • WHY DIDNT THEY TAKE THE DOG.

    WHAT

    THE

    FUCK

  • @EffinMUG I'm guessing you didn't read the story before posting your vulgarities . . . Their dog MUST be kept safe and calm, in order to heal properly. It can't be out walking around or getting stressed. He's at the vet's office to HEAL while they get their house - their life in order. SHAME on you for jumping to a conclusion.

  • @onekinkstar I WAS TALKING ABOUT THE DOGS FAMILY. SHAME ON YOU TOO AND SHAME ON ME COZ I WASNT SPECIFIC
  • @EffinMUG Huh? I answered your question ''Why didn't they take the dog?'

  • @onekinkstar they didnt take him cuz they couldnt care for him...learn to listen and be 'more specific'.

  • @delaney12 Hey! I was answering someone else who asked that question! It wasn't me who isn't getting the story, but thanks anyway.

  • @onekinkstar Why didnt the family/ownerofthedog take the dog with them*

  • "I'm going to leave my dog outside during a storm then leave town and not return for 2-and-a-half weeks because I assume my negligence has killed him. Then when I finally return I'll be so happy to have my family re-united that I'm going to leave the missing pet (family member) in the care of strangers until I can re-purchase some of the things I lost in the storm." This dog would be better off with any another family.

  • @GoochLewinsky Read the story to understand the truth. Everything is not so black and white as you seem to think.

  • @onekinkstar Stop telling me to read the story again. I read the story, that family sucks.

  • @GoochLewinsky Yeah, you're just one more person who either can't read or just won't ever get it . . . Good luck with all that. Whata World.

  • @onekinkstar I can read but I can also read between the lines. I've worked in the media for years, I think I can tell when the "news" is offering a story with a side of baloney.

But you just like to troll the internet so you can call people "stupid" so why am I even bothering with you?

Good luck with that whole "being an idiot" thing you've got going on there.

  • @GoochLewinsky WHO are you quoting here? I DID NOT call you 'stupid,' and do not reference anyone as 'being an idiot!' Call it what you want . . . I said good luck and left it. YOU had to come back with name calling, because YOU want to read into this MORE than it is. Let it go.

  • @onekinkstar Wow. Just shut up...you accused me of not being able to read several times. I only called you an idiot once I can move on. Please shut up now.

  • @GoochLewinsky Yeah, you are the one doing the name calling, NOT ME. Now, please kindly let it go. Well, that is UNLESS you want to keep on posting comments to prove how much you don't really know . . . Go ahead, it's your choice. You're looking more and more like all the names you call other people. Coming up in 3, 2, 1

  • How do they know that Mason was "hiding in the garage" when the storm hit? They know it, because that is where his owners left him while they evacuated. When he returned home injured, they dumped him at a shelter to be killed. The shelter gave him medical care and AFTERWARDS offered Mason back to this horror of a family. He goes home after he gets better.

  • @monjon22 Wow, you do realize there is no 'evacuation' from a tornado, right?

  • @onekinkstar If there was no evacuation why did it take 2 1/2 weeks to find him sitting at their house? You fucktard. Why are the only one defending these idiots...they must be related to you.

  • I think the leash is unnecessary since the dog can barely walk...

  • that's one tuff dog, i don't too many humans that would crawl on two broken legs for miles to get back home. Come to think of it, Dog's are more loyal than people. Dog's take a lot of crap from people, but for some reason Dog's still remain mans best friend.

  • its just not about memory, Mason have soul to bring his home. hide of that animal face, he actually just like human behavior and he good.

  • I interpreted it similarly to ClaireMK....the shelter is temporarily taking care of the dog

  • yah, since I don't know all the details, I am not going to make judgments without having sufficient facts

  • Leave your dog in a shelter? Dogs die from disease in shelters every day. Dog needs limited movement? Put it in a crate. That is exactly what the shelter will do. Does anyone wonder why the owners are not on the video? They dumped their dog at the shelter, that's why.

  • thats a fact..the loyality of the dog is stronger again than their owners..pity but true

  • The family that owns Mason temporarily gave custody to the animal shelter while they get their tornado damaged house back in livable condition and Mason gets his broken legs healed. Then they will reclaim him. Mason has had surgery from the very kind and talented Vulcan veterinary clinic and now has steel plates to straighten his legs.

A terrier mix is the BEST dog out there in my opinion. The loyalty is impeccable. I'm not surprised Mason came back to his damaged home to wait. Get wel

  • Good luck to Mason I am sure he'll pull through and reward his owners by using his doggy sixth sense and warn them of imminent Tornados. He sure knows what to look out for and the best place to land !

  • hello - hello - these people just went through a tornado, they themselves are probably going to a shelter, they may have no home for themselves. Maybe the shelter is just taking care of the dog temporarily...why jump right off the bat to a negative, judgmental conclusion???

  • Their house including the garage and porch looks fine to me. They are not living in a shelter.

  • @monjon22 Omgawd . . . What about utilities? Water services? Just stop . . . just stop.

  • If dog had a GPS collar he would have been found a lot sooner. But, it in America it is far more important to have a $70 000.00 truck, 3 homes, yacht, missile silo, etc. first.

  • If that were my pet I would have been back in my neighbourhood searching for my dog every day and night. I lost my cat last year and I didn't stop for 2 weeks until he was found in a city 35 miles from here, I can't imagine a situation where I would think my pet would be better off with strangers than with it's family...I hope they are visiting him often.

  • @GoochLewinsky If you read the article, or even read the first comment here, you'd see that he is under care at the vet's office - where he has to have limited movement to heal properly - while his family gets their home back in order. They DID NOT give him up!

  • @onekinkstar Yeah, I understand that but they don't come off like they were too concerned about the dog either. They're so caught up in reacquiring the things they lost that they aren't even happy to have the living things they still have. Like it or not, pets are family.

  • @GoochLewinsky I don't know how I'd appear to others after surviving a whirlwind and losing it all. I choose to believe them and leave it at that. Hell, if I dwell on all the bad shit people do every damned day - that we know for sure, I'd lose my mind! People are Cruel AND Heartless! My fuzzy family has been with me through more than any human who claims/claimed to love or care for me. I honor them for giving me comfort and strength, and will not ever willingly leave them, EVER.

  • @onekinkstar The dog wasn't blown to another city. It was probably sitting on the porch waiting for them for most of the time they were away. When a caring person is separated from a pet for 2 weeks, assuming he's dead, you don't ever want to be away from him again after you get him back. I understand that you can't keep at dog with 2 broken legs at the Super 8 but I'm pretty sure I would have at least been available for an interview...since the kids and I would be visiting everyday.

  • @GoochLewinsky I get that, except you have no idea what you're 'pretty sure' you'd do. Not until you are faced with something that challenges your ideas and morals, such as this mind-altering and life-changing tragedy. They did what they did, and it's their journey in this life. We all have our own path and it's not for others - strangers to judge . . . Take care.

  • poor, brave Todo.

  • i get so touchy with these kind of things. Animals--Dogs-- are just awesome!

  • So are they going to re-set his legs or not?

  • Dogs are wazzup!!

  • GOD BLESS THIS LITTLE DOG. GOD IS SO AWESOME. AND GOD BLESS ALL THE SURVIVIORS OF THIS STORM MY HEART WENT OUT TO U ALL WITH LOTS OF PRAYERS

  • @7322440206 I think you trollin

  • @7322440206 thank u folks with out JESUS AND OUR FATHER WE AIN'T NOTHING GOD turns bad into good we don't know the reason but he comes out ahead

  • i cant believe how this dog crawled home on 2 broken legs how lucky was he that he wasnt killed by the tornado how inspirational that he survived hope he has a great future.

  • apparently 4 people have no heart... who would ever dislike this? this dog is amazing!

  • the kind of people who probably hurt animals themselves!!!

  • Dogs are awesome.

  • If that were my dog, I would never let his feet touch the floor. Isn't there somebody who could help the family and keep the dog for a few weeks or months?

  • dogs truly are "man's best friend"

  • please help this lady and these dogs

    /user/tv88keysnestle

  • I'm still just reading some comments and its so funny how people who have never had to go through something like this is judging. People have been displaced, lives have been lost and food can be scarce. There are people living in TENTS just wanting a lean to and food and family members back that have died. So a tent with no electricity, no food and no proper care is good for these animals? No. By the way there have been pets found hundreds of miles away from home. The owners did not want that!

  • please check out link and see if you can help..this lady is trying her best to save these dogs but she can't do it alone..check her page for more

    youtube.com/watch?v=kcDQ2uJwb04

  • God love these creatures! Dogs are the most loyal of all animals. Bless little Mason

  • I don't care if they plan on getting their dog again later. I cannot believe they are going to leave him in the shelter for any length of time. What heartless bastards.

  • @Mythos131 The dog must be kept safe and calm; can't be stressed or moving about; and is at the vet's while his family works on getting homelife back . . . Be Nice.

  • oh the litte darling, I am so happy there is a happy ending here, \Bless everyone involved

  • Why is he still made to walk on two broken legs? Why doesn't the vet pick him up or get him a little wheelchair to prevent him from injuring himself more.

  • Fucking hell, how could anyway give the dog to the shelter after what he had gone through. I'd give my life away for my dog. some people are so selfish it's unbelievable!

  • Monday 11:15 A.M. ----------I just got word from the animal control officer on Masons case that he will be returning to his family after his recovery. It is great news that he will be able to reunite after such a difficult journey home. I am assuming this was this past Monday... Google - Vulcan Park Animal Care

  • well i'll be

  • I hate how all these people are accusing them of abandoning their dog. Or not taking the dog to a storm shelter with them. Do we know the story of where this and other families were when the storm hit? If they were at work or at the store or anywhere but home and the tornadoes hit, there is no way they can get home and retrieve their pets. And frankly, until you've been in a storm like that, don't judge split moment choices that have to be made.

  • OMg TEARS

  • so i wnder why did they leave the dog in the house? animals r not allowed in shelters?? jut wondering cuz i would never leave my dog. if shelter would have not accepted animals then i would a least placed him in a safe area or tight him up so he doesnt get blown away!. just by the begining this family is careless. poor doggy :( such a faithful companion.

  • Comment removed

  • To all that are questioning the family and why his legs aren't fixed yet....if you watch fox news you will find out the whole story, the only part left of their house is the garage and he has had the surgery-pins and cast to both. The family will be taking him back in! What a wonderful vet who did the surgery for free!

  • @Sun4Rey Finally . . . Someone who knows how to read and knows the story! YES, the dog needs to be kept safe and calm to heal properly, but people want to jump the family for 'leaving' him at the vet!

  • This is really a very touchy video, some times we don't realize that we can learn so much from the animals. Thank you for this amazing video.

  • Those owners are losers. I would never give up my dog.

  • Mason! where have you been for the last 2 weeks???

You know your not allowed out of the yard!

BAD DOG, and you got all dirty too?

    BAD DOG MASON

  • @PlebScrubber !!!! l0l !!!!

  • Mason is the man. Somebody give that guy a steak.

  • God bless the lovely doy...

  • wow, now that is an amazing story.

  • Touching story :|

  • No matter what the reason the family gives as an excuse for abandoning this dog they STILL did it! He needed them and they left him! Shame on them. Give the dog to a more deserving family,

  • thats awful he walked all the way home on two broken legs to see the family he loves who ended up abandoning him... couldnt they at least give him to a family member for a while?? dafuck!

  • Great story and I do hope that Mason & his family are reunited as soon as possible. And thanks to the Birmingham Jefferson County Animal Control and the shelter's veterinarian for taking care of Mason until the family welcomes him back to their new home.

  • I hate dogs, but it still is touching.. glad he made it home.

  • @auaiao9 my state the cut off was 24, and no they didn't. I got tossed out on the street because they were tired of dealing with my parents.

It's fine though. There's honestly more important things to worry about then what people think about people and their decisions. He's better off healing in a shelter

  • WHY are they still allowing that poor thing to walk on broken legs? WHY is he not being cared for by a vet? The Human Society should be investigating this cruelty!

  • @GotchaSc That was the shelter people on the video - please look again.

  • @GotchaSc What? They filmed his injury to tell the story, he's had surgery now and is doing fine. Wow.

  • If this was my dog I would not be able to leave him. I understand the family needs to get their lives back together, but I hope they visit Mason frequently. After all he made it a long way while in great pain to see his owners. I wish Mason and this family a happy reunion very soon.

  • This video actually made me cry, poor baby! I understand all the stuff about the family, but why didnt he have anything done for his legs yet? He should have been RUSHED to recovery. To think about what the poor dog has been through breaks my whole heart </3

  • Amazing!

  • God bless all the people who are sticking by him. Little trouper!

  • I'll tell you one thing for certain - there is NO SUCH THING as a "good conservative Christian"! You can be good, OR you can be a conservative Christian, but you can't be both. This ugly person's post proves it beyond any doubt!

PS _ Thanks for posting this lovely story. It's a shame that something so beautiful brings out some peoples' ugliness.

  • Lovely, just lovely.

    Hugs to Mason!

  • good boy!!!

  • Want to know what I like to do? Go on youtube to find some humorous videos to keep my mind busy while I ignore the fact I have to clean the hotel I have to live in because I got thrown out of foster care at 18 because they didn't want to deal with my parents beating me more.

I also like to come on to controversial videos and read all the insane comments from people who probably don't know the difference between their butt and a hole in the ground.

  • @myloveuntoyou Unfortunately for most kids in care 18 is the cut off for foster care unless you're juvenile justice which in my state will keep you til you're 19. You don't want to be a jj kid. Didn't the state you live in provide or offer aftercare services to you?

  • this dog is my hero

  • Yay for Animal Love and Animal Lovers!

  • I cannot believe the first comment about being a "good, conservative Christian". As a member of a Christian Rescuer our little rescue has saved over 700 dogs from terrible conditions, kill shelters, puppy mills., etc. Although I would never give up my dogs(3 puppy mill rescues, a kill shelter rescue, a stray), without knowing the circumstances of the family or how much they lost from this storm, I would not judge them. They may be totally unable to pay the vet bills???

  • I didn't say to keep your mouth shut but you should get all the facts first!

  • I hope no one who is judging here ever loses their home or fears for their safety during one of these horrific storms. I hope all the ones who are judging are giving of their time and money to HELP the people who have lost their homes. Just take a tour of all the destruction. Here we are in the middle of this mother nature hell and clean up and people are being rude and hateful, so yeah people suck! When the tornado hit it was the middle of the day so the family may not have been home.

  • Being in that situation everyone went through is tough I just hope the dog heals well and the family gets their life and home back together so everyone can be happy again. Everyone shouldn't be very judgmental like that. We all must look to the bright side of things.

  • Think again! What would you do if you couldn't afford to pay for his care? Turn him over, or leave him to suffer? Please, think before you speak. You may NOT know the entire story.

  • Amazing. What's more amazing is how the media is TOTALLY SILENT about "Where's Obama and FEMA", unlike when Katrina happened and the media was all over George Bush.

  • The very very saddest part of this story, i just cannot even imagine after this dog crawled home , these humans,,,,GIVE HIM AWAY...........I DONT CARE WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN THROUGH, YOU DONT GIVE THIS DOG AWAY LIKE AN OLD SOFA, ANIMALS SOMETIMES ARE SO MUCH MORE THAN HUMANS..........SO VERY VERY SAD

  • @Vvitaman I don't think these owners treated him well anyway.. Wasn't the dog in a garage when the tornado hit? Why was he in a garage? You would think these owners would take care of this dog NO MATTER WHAT after the tornado, just because the dog showed his loyalty even with broken legs.
