@babyface2k Whistle does not damage the voice, unless your doing it improperly. Mariah Carey has always used a healthy technique. Her voice has changed due to Vocal Nodules, over use and aging. But she is still a great singer and still better than a big majority of the music industry.

Because when you sing whistle, your vocal chords take another positions and then they get used to it and when you then sing with your singing (natural) voice your voice gets much lower and less quality then it was before. You can't hit high notes anymore though you're better in whistle. We can see this if we see the early Mariah up to the latest Mariah!

Because when you sing whistle, your vocal chords take another positions and then they get used to it and when you then sing with your singing (natural) voice your voice gets much lower and less quality then it was before. You can't hit high notes anymore though you're better in whistle. We can see this if we see the early Mariah up to the latest Mariah!

Aretha's scatts, riffs, and runs that are done in the studio is done by the Queen live and Youtube proves it. Mariah can only do riffs in the studio and lets the track play them in live performances. That Rihanna segment was SAD but hero isn't an easy song to sing the style isn't easy to emulate. I am a SUPER Mariah Fan. She has a the ablity to make a song her own a lot of people try to copy each other, but Mariah doesn't do that at all. I Love mariah.
