Man, I was going to go to Paris to eat, because I saw world-famous chefs raving about restaurants and shops in a city famous for its food culture, but luckily a semi-literate Youtube commenter explained to me that it's not really like that. Whew, talk about dodging a bullet!

I love Anthony Bourdain!!! He appreciates food the simple and the couture. the Mom and Pop and the Power Houses. Anthony Bourdain is definitely one of a kind and I will read his books, watch his shows, and support whatever he does till the day I die.

That host forgot to mention (intentionally) how rude the mo fo waitress are in Paris (and the habitants as well or inmigrants wanna be) and how arrogant are chefs, and MOSTLY the food sucks and is very expensive, there are 8 cafe per block and 7 of them serve cold bread with a lettuce an some ham, at 7 euros. The city is beautiful but dont expect me to leave my money there anytime soon cause is an atmosphere of bad humour there..

@wendighoul Yes I can post it 3 times (or more if I want to) thanks for your concern and I did leave (thought that was clear to a superior mind that detects so easily the obvious)if comments are so offsetting to u then DONT READ THEM (talking about anal-retentive) Food and "cafes" in Paris MOST of them SUCKS big time and that is a fact and I find that useful information to share so people about to visit Paris (that doesnt have michelin chefs and/or money to guide them) lower their expectations

Loved this episode! I'm often amazed with how the French are able to surprise you with awesome food, be it from the quality of their produce or the creativity of the chef. You often wonder whether it's tasty, whereas other kitchens like Italian and Spanish are often more obvious in their appeal. Now I want to go to Paris again!
