  • should the palm of the hand rest on the orthomouse at all times? where should the movement come from? the wrist? should the forearm just rest on the surface and not move at all?

  • This is wrong using a mouse with your wrist is more tiring and less efficient then using you arm. The arm has bigger muscles and so can take more use than the wrist which is where you will more likely develop muscle injury. Mose pro gamers develop using the whole arm this lets them be more accurate and have more stamina. Using your wrist is a quick way to carpel tunnel.

  • Arm and forearm do have muscles, the wrist does not. It is a passage to the nerves, vases and tendons (and an articulating point). The movement you do with the OrthoMouse is the same as in writing: concentrated in the fingertips. The forearm should be supported by the desk. The arm has strong muscles but not capable of precision and moves pivoting from the shoulder.
