I love the raw power this movie displays! There's hardly any special effects in it, but that's the beauty of it all! You don't need computer effects to tell a good story all the time. The ending was sooo sad!!

Well, it was a fun movie, with some good action scenes, but the screenplay was rather horrible, the whole movie changing pace in the middle and noone understanding why.

It's truly a movie worth watching. I truly love the message it brings. Like the relationship between Kei and Sho,..Kei was not only his friend but also like his father because he kinda raised him. And that is what the kiss says in fact, I wouldn't call it yaoi.

I couldn't get my mind around people speaking Japanese to people speaking Mandarin. Also, Gackt could dodge bullets even though he wasn't a vampire. Also, Hyde went to jail instead of trying to get away, which I'm sure he could have... you know... being a vampire and all. Also, the acting sucked.
The whole thing about the language is that everyone's supposed to understand it because of the way the town is. About the doging bullets yeah that's... (I think it was supposed to be implied that Gackt was trained by Hyde to be faster. (I'm just guessing) But with Hyde going to jail you have to really understand that he didn't want to live anymore. He really wanted to die but he couldn't do it on his own. So yeah... Acting wise. Not the best but hey... they aren't actors their musians.

The language thing was stupid. There was no reason for it. They could have easily just all spoken the same language, if they apparently know them. It's impossible to train a human to dodge a bullet, even if you're a vampire. That was stupid. There was no redeeming point in the movie. There was nothing good about it, in my opinion. The plot was horrid, the acting was horrid, and the inclusion of a vampire was just stupid. I'm a huge Gackt and Hyde fan. I'm just not delirious.

Of course it's fictional. In no world can a human dodge bullets. If Gackt were a vampire, MAYBE. But he wasn't. Therefor, it was stupid. The movie was supposed to take place in the real world, not some faraway planet that looks like East Asia. How exactly was the language thing part of the story? I was going to say 'fangirls,' but it wouldn't fit. The movie was full of terrible acting, annoying characters, and an even worse storyline. The movie was Gackt x Hyde fanservice for stupid fangirls like you who want to suck off someone who doesn't know you exist. Read some reviews for the movie, they'll all say the exact same things I say. The only people who like this movie are delirious fangirls. Like I said, I am an enormous Gackt and Hyde fan. i'm thinking u speak english only? the language thing makes absolute perfect sense to me. in the movie gackt, hyde, leehom etc all spoke mandarin to each other but hyde, gackt, toshio n shinji spoke jap when they r with each other. toshio understands mandarin but doesn't speak it. it is possible cuz i understand cantonese but don't speak it.
this movie isn't really bout dodging bullets n vampire. it' about friendship love, money, values, racism etc. the bullets n vampires r just appetizers while the main course is mostly about the challenges they face. fiction shows that u can think outside the box. use ur imagination! i find this movie alot better than most of the movies that r currently playing in theatres rite now.

Well, it was a fun movie, with some good action scenes, but the screenplay was rather horrible, the whole movie changing pace in the middle and noone understanding why.

It's truly a movie worth watching. I truly love the message it brings. Like the relationship between Kei and Sho,..Kei was not only his friend but also like his father because he kinda raised him. And that is what the kiss says in fact, I wouldn't call it yaoi.

Moonchild is my favorite movie and the acting was perfect. Twilight has no competition because the movie sucked and the acting there was even more terrifying. Don't compare the two films.

actually, most of the actors in Twilight are just "making it big" with Twilight, and the only reason they are making it big is because a bunch of squealy Edward fangirls *shudder* are making them out to be big. A few years, hell, even a year from now, Twilight will be worth nothing and no one will care. And Gackt and Wang Leehom are actors. and I mean, it wasn't too bad then, and I got out of it and didn't really care for them, but the books have been so overdone that I hate them now. and the movies aren't much better: one of only two guys worth looking at was killed (it was a hawt scene, might I add XP), and the second is a wolf boy. Taylor Lautner is just climbing up the animal ranks, isn't he? I wish he would have been chosen to play the character of Sokka in the new avatar the last airbender movie, though *sigh*

listen, im sorry. i read over my comment and it was blunt and unnecessary. My views are mine but i was a bit straightforward with that one. The reason i was so firm in my opinion about twilight is that the series gave me a safe haven that i could escape my parents divorce from. But i shouldnt have enforced it upon anyone. i saw moonchild a while ago and didnt care for it, thats all. but you shouldnt have to concern yourself with that. im sorry.

I couldn't get my mind around people speaking Japanese to people speaking Mandarin. Also, Gackt could dodge bullets even though he wasn't a vampire. Also, Hyde went to jail instead of trying to get away, which I'm sure he could have... you know... being a vampire and all. Also, the acting sucked.

The whole thing about the language is that everyone's supposed to understand it because of the way the town is. About the doging bullets yeah that's... (I think it was supposed to be implied that Gackt was trained by Hyde to be faster. (I'm just guessing) But with Hyde going to jail you have to really understand that he didn't want to live anymore. He really wanted to die but he couldn't do it on his own. So yeah... Acting wise. Not the best but hey... they aren't actors their musians.

The language thing was stupid. There was no reason for it. They could have easily just all spoken the same language, if they apparently know them. It's impossible to train a human to dodge a bullet, even if you're a vampire. That was stupid. There was no redeeming point in the movie. There was nothing good about it, in my opinion. The plot was horrid, the acting was horrid, and the inclusion of a vampire was just stupid. I'm a huge Gackt and Hyde fan. I'm just not delirious.

I'm a big fan f Gackt and Hyde too and I wasn't saying it was the best work out there, but not totally terrible. At least in my opinion. Of course it's fictional. In no world can a human dodge bullets. If Gackt were a vampire, MAYBE. But he wasn't. Therefor, it was stupid. The movie was supposed to take place in the real world, not some faraway planet that looks like East Asia. How exactly was the language thing part of the story? Explain it to me, because until someone does, it's just a stupid and pointless annoyance. The movie was terrible. I love Gackt and Hyde, but that movie should never have been conceived. I was going to say 'fangirls,' but it wouldn't fit. The movie was full of terrible acting, annoying characters, and an even worse storyline. The movie was Gackt x Hyde fanservice for stupid fangirls like you who want to suck off someone who doesn't know you exist. Of course there's worse. I've seen FAR worse movies than Moon Child. I've justified my points perfectly clear, at least I thought so. The movie takes place in our universe. That is why it's stupid for them to be able to dodge bullets. People speaking Japanese to people speaking Mandarin is stupid, on top of not making sense. That's like me walking up to someone who only speaks German and having a conversation with them. The movie is fiction, but it takes place in THIS UNIVERSE. It's not fantasy.

i'm thinking u speak english only? the language thing makes absolute perfect sense to me. in the movie gackt, hyde, leehom etc all spoke mandarin to each other but hyde, gackt, toshio n shinji spoke jap when they r with each other. toshio understands mandarin but doesn't speak it. it is possible cuz i understand cantonese but don't speak it.

this movie isn't really bout dodging bullets n vampire. it' about friendship love, money, values, racism etc. the bullets n vampires r just appetizers while the main course is mostly about the challenges they face. fiction shows that u can think outside the box. use ur imagination! i find this movie alot better than most of the movies that r currently playing in theatres rite now.

Look at the IMDB page for Moon Child, and look at the people who scored it. On top of it having a terrible 6.1 out of 10, look at the men vs. women's scores, and then look at the ages of people who scored it. The movie is for stupid fangirls, nobody else.
