  • Sounds like a coffee I would like. But I like strong, dark roast coffee. Last time I saw a fountain? It was at the college of Idaho when the high school took a tour there. It was a AWESOME fountain! Haha thumbs up!

  • Funny thing is that it's not considered important info and is considering "details" with coffee, but if you went to buy produce you wouldn't buy an apple from a bin labeled "Apples" with the apples pre-sliced in a bag with no hint of how fresh they were. Most people inspect each piece of fruit before buying it to make sure it's not old. The same applies to coffee. It has it's "ripeness" period. The flavor even changes within that period of about a month!

  • My point is that high quality coffee and CostCo do not go into the same sentence...ever!

  • You left out the important information...

When was it roasted? How long was it sitting at CostCo? How long between your review and the roast? What kind of roast? What's in the blend? Is it a melange or an origin blend?

  • @renix all great points, I will make sure to geek out more on the details next tasting.

  • @CoffeeCupNews Furthermore, the ripeness period varies depending on the intended method of extraction.

  • i grabbed my nans coffee machine while shes on holiday, the one with the pods, it is great

    Congratulations and thanks.

  • @vincycacau thanks for commenting.

  • I've never had coffee from a drip coffee maker, only a french press (or caffetierre as I know it) nor have I ever seen a drip coffee maker in real life. I dont think they get used in UK really.

  • @LeoMRogers wow! seriously? This is shocking to me. Drip is probably the Most Used way to brew coffee in the USA.

  • @CoffeeCupNews I know, i see it all the time on american TV (and wheezywaiter) but never in real life. Maybe some coffee shops or restaurants use them, but whenever the process of making the coffee is in view, they make espresso and top it up with hot water.

  • omg i love costco! their stuff is very inexpensive and good quality :D

please keep up with ur videos! i meet this guy at starbucks the other day, who later became my friend on facebook, (we started talking about hockey). and i told him about ur channel since we both r a fan of starbucks and coffee. but so far my favorite is salt spring coffee i donno why lool

  • @AimBotBoy Wow! Thanks for telling someone about Coffee Cup News, that means a lot!

  • @WarTomHero92 you can always pour off the coffee press into a insulated decanter / thermos. It keeps it hot for a much longer time and give you a chance to enjoy your coffee vs chugging it down.

  • i feel like i waste coffee when i use a french press cause i only like one cup at a time...so i only french press on occasion or when i have friends over

  • @WarTornHero92 you can get small ones that just make one serving.

  • @LeoMRogers hmm i'll have to look into that

  • So does a french press bring out a lot more flavors than a drip coffee maker?

  • @wheely132 yes in a BIG way!

  • @CoffeeCupNews haha cool! i will keep an eye out for a french press and see if we could get one.
