All I can say is...wow. I love the AMV and all the work you put into it to make it shine like it does, the song is perfect and it sucked me in so much I forgot about the world around me...But I digress. This is amazing, and had I not known it was your first, I'd've taken it to be one of the later-stage AMVs that people create. 5/5, full of love, soft guitar, and great job on the whole deal. Heh...The ribbons made a big job in tying the whole thing together.
The timing is absolutely spot on (I really like the pauses with black screen), and I love how the clips KEEP CHANGING BECAUSE YOU ACTUALLY PUT EFFORT INTO THIS INSTEAD OF LETTING IT BE ONE LONG CLIP, WHICH IS BORING. /capslock
... Anyway. =P I ALSO love how the clips start switching faster as the guitar speeds up, and I ESPECIALLY love the fountain at about 1:45. (Aeeerrriiiis!) All in all, this is a pretty b*tch*n' first AMV. :D
