There is no songwriter I respect more than him. It's no coincidence that every project he jumps on turns out to be amazing.

i think that one the main reasons why blur is far way better than oasis, is beacuse, they really really made there own genre damon albarn is a genious, and, if you listen to oasis,, songs, they al sound the same to me, i don't it's just my opinion

plus 1000. blur created their own genre of music. they've never tried to correspond to something. they made something new, something totally "their". when i first heard "there's no other way",i understood it. and oasis... they're just "one of the ..." they hold on the tradition of rock'n'roll music, and that's why they think they're better.

Good statement. Oasis gave us some really nice track I don't want to miss but Blur are completely unique. You can see where Oasis came from but Blur? It is impossible to see them in the tradition of a particular style or musical influence... ah shuck.. you said that already.

Blur were supposed to headline Glastonbury this year, it emerged this week. Alex said that it was stopped at the last minute..... by Damon's mum?
