I'm a fan of these cheezy old movies, and it was fun watching it with my nephew. Godzilla movies are kind of for kid's though, and some of the commercials were a little scary for him. Of course, good placement to reach geeks like me with more monster movies. some prudence could have been used here.

dude, the american movie was such a bomb. like spiderman 3, it did great opening week, but almost everyone regreted spending money on a ticket. it was so bad, japan bought the rights for the american godzilla so they wouldn't make a sequel. they instead used it in one of their latest films (godzilla final war) and renamed it "zilla" and had it fight godzilla...which he killed in one tail swipe. XD
