b'cuz its a recirc bov. it prevents loss of power when u release pressure. it sucks air back into the engine instead of just releasing it. .....and maybe the fitment is different thats why they said "specifically made" for 08s. who f*ckin knows!?>
how many rings you got in there? i know exactly what u r talkin about.. it happened to me as well. try putting all 6 rings in and see what happens. im sure thatll take care of that.. give it some time too.. ur ECU needs to adjust to it
yea it cuts off b/c the pressure was too much for the spring to handle, i didn't have any washers in at the time but adding 3,4 or even 5 washers works.. however if you have washers in there and your car is still losing RPM when idle and or in 1st gear then i don't know. I also have a video of my bov you should check it out.
yeh for me, coming to a hard stop feels like its gon stall but catches it back on. kinda weird but had made some improvements when i started fukkin wit the bov. i uploaded 2 new clips... check it out too!
mane... i had some issues with this BOV. it took me atleast a week to figure out what was goin wrong wit it. my intercooler was makin some weird noise when the RPM declines. i tried takin one washer out a day to see if that would help, which didnt. then i tried cuttin the hose a lil shorter then that seemed to do the trick. im gon try and take some washers off now and see what happens... btw, what u mean ur car died?? cuts off u mean?

Hi bud its not a simulator he has a turbo, and thats a blow off valve! Its there to prevent air surge in the intake!

sounds good. did u use washers? I used 3 or 4 cuz there was to much pressure on the spring so my car died :( but 3-4 washers did the trick :)
