why do you oppose a treaty that increases democracy? why don´t you agree to take 3 steps forward? because you wanted 6 steps? the EU can´t succeed when everyone wants 100% of his wishes to be part of the constitution. it´s time for a YES!
if you look at quality and not only written rules, the european parliament could be a benchmark for national parliaments where positions are set in concrete without any dialogue.

The reason most of Ireland voted no was because they didnt know what it was about and they were stupid enough to think, i'll just vote no so. A recent poll shows that if it was taken again something like 53% would say yes with 18% unsure.
I'm just wondering how many Irish people you actually know? The reason most people voted no was for the reason you say -we didn't know what it was about and when we asked for clarification none was provided. It's too late after you say yes to admit you didn't understand. The Irish people said no so that we would receive more information. The change in figures reflects the changes that have been made to the treaty. But then what would I know I'm just a stupid Irish girl!

What is this Person doing in EU Parliament? The only place for a politician like Kathy Sinnott is Dáil Éireann. Mug Savages!

Kathy, I saw your piece on DW television. You have my wholehearted support. You complement the Irish well.
