Reminder, that Myles Kennedy was considered to replace Robert Plant as well.

He is an epic singer.

This version of the song rocks so much harder than most other stuff that has ever been written in recent years. Just shows how good the classics are, just as vital now as they were when they came about.

this year's ROTR sucked! i mean they had some good bands (keyword there: "some") but the soundmen had the bass up way too high and we almost couldn't even hear the bands when they were playing

i mean bass is very important, but its never good to have it so loud that u can't even hear the rest of the band. same goes with the rest of the instrument roles

what's with all the haters? if anything the bad sound quality doesn't help, but check out some of his other zeppelin covers before you judge, myles would clearly be one of the best candidates if zeppelin were to tour, hes got great range and is one of the best vocalist out there right now... but from what i've been hearing hes already been rehearsing with jimmy page so i think there's a good chance he'll be the front man for the zeppelin

Maybe he was just off that day (it was the first time I had heard Alter Bridge perform), but I was at RotR last weekend too and both I and the people I was with were not impressed with the cover.
