samsung gets you with the bright colors to hide the true black n hide the motion issues. panasonic a more true color n dont have to hide anything, most of panasonic technology come from the FAME pioneer KURO plasma cuz panasonic bought the pioneer technology.
@Venezuela305 lol 58" i have view the room and the review on the S1 without P3 beceause of the copyrght bullshit , you shoud make a similar review for the V10 i`am loking for a gaming tv and i was thinking of the b650 but plasma coud work evendow i herd the colors whash out :P anyway the lcdtv is perfect as a monitor. i heard the b650 is good for games to but who knows what i`am going to buy :))
Well, because I had the B750, which is about 20% faster, and it's terrible for gaming. Even in gaming mode, and everything turned off, it lags like hell. Also, the viewing angles are not that great either, and they're suppose to be better than the B650 (most of them).
I've been wanting to put a review of the B750 and the V10, but I've been lazy lately. Also, World of Warcraft is consuming my time. hehe
But yeah, don't, I called for return the very next day.
Yeah, it ranges, but 100ms is the average for the B750 at least.
And when people say playable, is that compared to what?
For me, it wasn't even usable for regular web-browsing, let alone gaming. But hey, to each it's own. Just don't expect to be good at any game, because you will always be at the disadvantage.
@Venezuela305 Yes it kind suks for gaming i look at a 42v10 it looks great but the price is to high for me :D anyways i`am going to wait :P this is my best solution :))
Probably. Just make sure to always check the price on all sizes. I got this 58" V10 for $1800 + Shipping. The 50" was $2200 + Shipping. This was true for pretty much all stores online. So yeah, always check, even if it's out of curiosity.
In my opinion the best TV's in this comparison are the G10 and V10. V10 and G10 has the same black levels, and the unic difference between this two TVs is V10 has the vibrant colors more saturated, and has the THX mode. However G10 has the THX certified has well.
If you tried film the G10 in a darker room, the result would be much better, because the room you were was really light.
You made a good choice. Most likely, the S1 that you recorded had the brightness set to high. I also bought an S1 set, because the price was so unbeatable. The S1 is probablly the best set you can find for the money. Of course a more expensive tv will be better, but the S1 is so affordable, and very impressive.
Superb Video comparisons. I'm gonna get me a 42' G10 this coming pay day. I need it for gaming and watching sports. I have a 46' Samsung A550 LCD. Got it a year ago and at first I loved it. But as time went by I starting noticing how poor the contrast was and the despicable motion blur @ 60hz when watching sports ugh! Gonna give it to my sister as a Christmas gift :b. I was debating between the S1 or G10 but seeing this video has giving me confirmation for the G10. Thanks a lot man.
How often would you be looking watching your tv in an brightly florescent lit room. Don't make your judgment on a tv that is in an uncommon environment.

If you have been following my story, I returned that TV. I currently have a 58" V10.
You can see a video of my room in "watch?v=QSL5Du16c7Y".
Like all things, you get used to them. It doesn't feel big at all. It's actually starting to feel small. lol.

Don't get the B650. Why?

Exactly, what's why I close the Panasonic S1 (Plasma). I said that at the end of the video.
