I find it creepily haunting that he recorded this 5 years before he actually was killed. Lived fast, loved hard and died young that's what he did! It was nice to hear an Eddie song I haven't heard b4.

ELVIS will always be the KING of Rock n Roll, The Best of the Best, and nothing or no-one can ever change that fact. Eddie Cochran was also great and made his mark in music for the few short years he lived. But there were other greats in their own way at that time also. Who can ever forget the great Buddy Holly, Ricky Nelson, Richie Valens, and the lists continues. They were all great and they left us all great songs to remember them by. The 50s & 60s will always be the greatest era EVER.

He was on the way to the airport in london to return to the states when the cab he a light post. He was with Gene Vincent and his girlfriend Sharon Shelley. Sharon wrote Ricky Nelson's first big hit.

The fatal car was, in fact, a local taxi from his last gig in Bristol, an English Ford Consul, driven by a local driver, George Martin. I have been to the site at Rowden Hill everal times to visit the small plaque on the grass verge there.

First time I hear this. Thanx jvnicks. FYI: at 01:57 you have Eddies 10 yrs older brother Bob at left (father of Bobby Cochran, gifted musician in his own right). Bob and Ed were really good buddies, hunted and drank together. Guy near Ed is Johnny Rook. Rook was into the screen but in no big way. He got to know Eddie after Ed's performance at Town Hall Party. He sent Ed a message and was invited the next day to Eddies home in Bell Gardens. Ed lived there with his ma and pa.
