This is utterly wrong. It actually used to be tradition for the King to be on the frontline in wars over the centuries. Prince Andrew served in the Falklands War, Harry's been frontline Afganistan and William is not 'banned' from the same, and is simply still going through training with the RAF. Harry is a British Army officer and that is more fasttrack for seeing action. They both chose to serve too, as opposed to some Royal requirement. Stupid ABC guy.

Still you haven't answered all my questions. If it was big news at all and if the British government condemned the newspaper, it would be all over the news here in North America. No one was fired, no one is blamed, except for some newspaper that was probably used purposely to leak the story.
They never broke the law as such so nobody can be fired. That would be the state enforcing press censorship - it was always a voluntary blackout. But the British Chief of General Staff did express his dissapointment at the leak. If the aim was to leak the story it could have been released earlier as "Bild" in Germany suggested that he was in Afghanistan but as this was not a confirmed report the other agencies stayed quiet.

The magazine is called "New Idea". They quickly withdrew their story from the website but it was too late s it had emerged on the Drudge Report in America. And there is outrage in the UK - seriously do you just get angry without doing an ounce of research? Clearly wherever you live the mainstream media aren't doing their job. Still you haven't answered all my questions. If it was big news at all and if the British government condemned the newspaper, it would be all over the news here in North America. No one was fired, no one is blamed, except for some newspaper that was probably used purposely to leak the story.

They never broke the law as such so nobody can be fired. That would be the state enforcing press censorship - it was always a voluntary blackout. But the British Chief of General Staff did express his dissapointment at the leak. If the aim was to leak the story it could have been released earlier as "Bild" in Germany suggested that he was in Afghanistan but as this was not a confirmed report the other agencies stayed quiet.
