The best form of rodent control is prevention, seal food away in airtight containers until it's being eaten. Only feed outdoor pets like rabbits what they will eat to prevent leftover food being spilled for rodents to get to. I'm well aware of that the reason why people fear rats is that they can carry disease, BUT that's not the case 100% of the time. Again fear of the unknown. People see or hear "rat" and they freak out. They don't like the tail or their eyes. But they never get close enough or want to get close enough to learn how wonderful these little guys can be. I have owned rats now for over 14 years. It gets tiresome when I see and hear about the negativity toward rats.
