  • Outstanding! It's the first time i see Paul Anka perform with the guitar! And he is unleashed! What a pleasure to look at him! ♥♥♥

  • @beatlettese I also saw Paul Anka play guitar (a Martin, for the record) for an episode of "Hee Haw" in 1980 when he sang the song he wrote for Buddy Holly, "I Guess It Doesn't Matter Anymore". Paul was in Nashville to promote a country music album he recorded.

  • now this reminds me of my mid teens. and with Paul Anka we dont notice the video quality to much when watching him.. I love the video. thanks for sharing. sandy

  • The singer on the left of Paul Anka is "Johnny Rivers" from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, of "The Whiskey a Go Go" fame. He's famous for many, many hits including "Memphis", "Secret Agent Man","Poor Side of Town" and "Midnight Special", during the 60's.

He's still very successful now and touring. I recently saw him in concert in Louisiana and he sounds as great as ever!

  • too cute! a couple of greats back in the day! Italian boys at their best!

    Thanks for posting!

  • @slowdancer77 Actually, Johnny Rivers (born John Ramistella) is of Italian descent. Paul Anka, from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, is of Lebanese descent.

  • @slowdancer77 Paul Anka is actually of Lebanese descent. Some sources say he is also of Syrian descent. Johnny Rivers is of Italian heritage (born John Ramistella in Baton Rouge, LA).

  • Never heard this before very bluesy.

  • It may be poor quality but I still enjoyed it very much! Haven't seen this one before. Thanks for posting it. Laura
