The black cat in the OP [ 1:15 ] is explained in the drama CD 1 from DVD volume 1. It explains that the first timeline's Madoka became a magical girl to save a cat that was hit by a car. She kept this a secret because she didn't want to be scolded for doing it for such a small reason. - TVTropes

@Neoxkais I don't know and, I don't care. All I know is this, My Cousin told me about this anime how, is will blow my mind away, that it isn't the average Magical Girl anime.
So I watch the opening, kind of said yeah this is a average magical anime, then I watch the anime
