I prefer the Japanese version because it actually gives you a lifebar, instead of this designed-to-waste-credits-ever­-draining-numeric gauge (worst HP system ever!). The World and Japanese versions of Crime Fighters had a lifebar too.

Great game! And one of the most epic arcade soundtracks ever. I don't get why this was never released in a (late 80's-early 90's) compilation for PSX or PS2. They seriously need to put this on PSN and XBLA.
