It looks like a normal TV tuner. If it gets into the right hands, it could be easily hacked and a software utility could be written which would let anyone (even those who don't have the Jadoo Box) connect to the service.

Now it is an absolutely useless device to an extent. good indian channels have been removed. you can not upload any channels. Their claim is rubbish . All the tv channels, whenever you try to upload into your jadoo tv box message always shows improper url: From where we bring the channels to put into this stupid and useless box. It is really a wastage of money now. Please do not even think to buy this useless device Thanks
Jadoo TV no Longer works as of Mar 30, 2011 and they are fraud.. You no longer can receive any programs.. Are other people having the same experience? I sent them 3 emails, and didn't get any reply. I called them and was no. 6 on the waiting list, and the system hanged up just as it was my turn. Go figure that out. They advertised on their website about ARY and GEO, etc. and we did receive for couple of months, and now for the last 2 weeks, everything has disappeared..
seemed like a scam! I returned mine - agent only gave me partial refund because I returned the day I got it and caught him cheating me but still lost some of the money...DO NOT BUY ... I am guessing this company is a fraud - as of two days ago most channels aren't showing up.

jadoo works on 10mb/s DWL speed. u dont need like 35mb/s or something

nope. They got sued many times but they are not streaming LIVE Channels there is a 10 sec or 20 sec pause and that does not consider ILLEGAL.

Jadoo TV requires high speed internet connection. it can be provided via cable (enternet) or wifi...so yet it works on wifi singnals as well.

@mrnik2007 i don't think it's the best but i advise you to get high speed it works better low speed channels will freeze at times but not a lot.
- If you have high speed internet and want to watch a lot cool stuff live and on demand i think you should spend the $ 300 . Hope it helps !
