  • 1:12 OF FUCK YEAH WE BEAT U GUYS IN SEAT BELT USAGE WE BETTR DEN YALL. WE SURVIVE :D

  • Having experienced this as well as being hit by a drunk driver, I have to say that taking the time to use a turn signal is pointless and obviously the idea of someone who has never been in a crisis situation. Not only is it crazy to think you should remember to use it, but if the others drivers don't notice you having a blowout, smoking tires, spinning, etc, they're sure as fuck not gonna look at your turn signal.

  • In a tire blowout, just lock the handbrake and pull off a 180 degree slide.

  • Your video was great, but in order to demonstrate what really would happen in a real life situation you should have blown a tire.

  • get out of the car and scream FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!!!!!!!!

  • We had a blowout yesterday in Connecticut with our 89 suburban. We were hauling a car on an auto transport from Uhaul, when all of a sudden the goddamn tire exploded on the freeway. Suburban crashes down onto the rim. We didn't swerve or nothing, and luckily there was a large break down lane.

    Didn't hit any other cars.

    Hella loud explosion though.

Had to run in the interstate to pick up the suburban's tire. Glad it was the rear tire and not a front tire.

    Damaged the muffler, tailpipe, &chrome.

  • sooo if a country drives on the left hand side of the road. pulling over to the left is unsafe still.

  • this is weird how this stuff popped up in my suggestions box one day after I passed my theoretical exam :D

  • What if you were on a corner when the blow out happened?

  • @AFailProduction You're screwed :P

  • @AFailProduction let go of the gas and try to finish the turn then do what the video says.. but dont hit the gas.. if u slide, turn into the slide.. this will spin and stop the car.. and shuts off the engine.. and hope it was the rear tire.. if its the front.. DO NOT HIT THE BRAKES.. good chance u might flip from the your rim digging into the road.. if your goin 50+ mph.. DO NOT PRAY.. I dont know if u notice.. in movies.. people who pray in bad situations.. kinda die... just hold on the ride

  • @Souwannaknow watch "Tire blow on Highway" (/watch?v=okVCwoqxMgI&feature=related) if u wanna see wat happen if u hit the brakes while turning.... before u start trolling

  • step 1:get out of the car ad walk

  • having your tire blow out doesn't make you a bad driver. dumb ass.

  • step1:change the tire

    your done

  • You need, a brain, and don't give licenses to people who cant drive.

    Problem solved, no more accidents.

  • What if you were on the highway going 160 MPH and you have a tire blowout?

  • @joewillgo well then you'd probably be dead by now...

  • @CP9Luffy Even if I have 5 Star Crash Test Rating?! :O

  • step1: jack a guys car

  • i had the right front tire go on my 1994 explorer today at about 65

my actuall thoughts were.. "thats it? " i thought a blowout was supposed to be a castrophe . i did exactly what this video said out of instinct and the car kept going in a straight line , it was bumpy, BUT it was fine i have a manual transmission, and that may have helped, but the car didnt do anything but go BOOOM BUMP BUMP BUMP SLAP SLAP SLAP as i eased over to the shoulder

  • this is nooo help what so ever

  • but what about manual cars?

  • dont be hot under pressure and want to jerk the wheel lol

  • Sounds simple, but 'accelerate gently'????? i cant believe anybody, would not immediatly comes of the gas the instant something feels wrong, dont forget for the first few nano seconds (depending on your car knowledge and senses etc) you wont know its a blowout

  • so if i stop at the right side i'm facing omcoming traffic

howcast you really need to be considerate for UK auidernces as well

    despite our bad spelling

  • would'nt u need a car with a blown out tire???

  • ORRRRRRRRRRR to make sure you dont have a blow out check your tires everyday (Y)

  • acceleration seems counter intuitive, but it is proven. The landing gear of large jets are designed to deflate under pressure/heat so as not to risk explosion. The thrust of the engines maintain the aircraft's momentum down the runway...

  • @petershen1984 How is that relevant to this video? Nothing you mentioned there has any relevance to a *car* tyre blowout.

  • How about this, maintain your car, and this will never happen.

  • This is EXTREMELY valuable and true! I had a blowout a week ago and spun out in the middle of an interstate. I collided with two other cars (no one hurt, thank goodness). Although I had control of the car, I made getting off the road a priority.

I didn't jerk the wheel; I tried to slowly get over to the right, but the back end fishtailed, causing the accident.

Remember: STAY as STRAIGHT as possible until you're going slowly, THEN worry about getting off the road.

  • omfg how cool!
