gt road is bullshit accidents ratio on gt raod is too much every kutta billa is on the raod.moterway is very safe drive .i havent any accident on moterway ALLAMDOLLIAH.but on gt road i was just near to lost my life but saved i hit the tractor on high speed.

gt road is better than motor way cuz its shorter and you can find bliilions of resturants and motels etc...

dude gt road not safe. Many ppl died on gt road. First of all keep ur car in gd condition nd if still breaks down nd i will call the mobile mechanic. Ur talking gt road frm lhr-isloo, peashwar-isloo

@kool4evry1 but dude...im talking about peshawer to isloo gt road.... its ok till burhan interchange and after that its about 40 km i think...motorway is safer i agree but if you wanna experience some fun and see ppl and and culture of pakistan....i guess you gotta take gt road

I found that the Motorway wasn't any faster than the GT Road to and from Peshawar to Islamabad. The GT Road is a more direct route and the Motorway section beyond Nowshera hadn't been finished. Hopefully there will be an appreciable improvement when it's fully done by year's end.

If its not faster then what is the benefit of having it? Less traffic? Does connect some towns that werent connected by GT road?

In fact it hasn't achieved its full potential becasue it hasn't been completed. I agree that once completed it will be of greater benefit in terms of improving travel and the nation's infrastructure.
