the sound of the alert is supposed to get your attention although most people do not take warnings seriously even though the nws does not issue warnings for no reason
I just LOVE these Weather Channel severe weather videos! I've lived in Norway since 1982, and really miss being able to follow outbreaks on TWC. THANKS SO MUCH!!
I sure do hope next year is better than this year. Cause we had basically not that many tornadoes, which is good, but it's bad at the same time. Talk about irony! LOL! 8-)
I'm looking around and maybe sometime in the frame of October 21/22 there may be something. I hate using those long range models but with as slow as it has been, they are my only hope! lol
Steve is a meteorologist at my tv station!

Do these guys have a commercial where they brag how they kept people safe during severe weather? They are one of the few who deserve it.

I remember being in Bloomington, Indiana on that day. There was a tornado touchdown 4 miles from where I was... it was nuts.

Nuts, indeed.

Amazing how fast this line fired off a hail storm of tornados. (No pun intended)

No problem... Since it is almost 100 degrees outside, gives me something to do inside. lol
